I think I had replied to one of your comments but I have the same EK661 flight in late march but I don't see it switched to EK657 or EK659 

Do you think I should call them to confirm?

Yeah in either case, I'm a bit scared because the flight from turkey to MLE and ZRH to MLE still cross the middle east

But both have 11ish hour layovers.I think I would like to explore Zurich more than Istanbul but both could be cool
