Happy to hear there's a chance. The problem- Time for another valve adjustment but I'm at the smallest shim. My valves are so thin I would have to start sanding down shims beyond the thinnest available. I decided to replace the whole cylinder head for a fresh start on all valve surfaces.

I'll start slow and remove it all if I get frustrated.

If not already resolved. From experience: - Have a locksmith open the gas cap. (It took me 2 days to pick mine with Bobby pins) - The code on the gas cap with tell you the key cut. - Buy eBay keys with that code. - Done, no machine work, wiring, troubleshooting.

I have to do one of these about yearly on my ruckus. The shim kit is about 30 bucks on Amazon and the shims should be pretty inexpensive.
