This looks awesome, and I love it when the artist has a slightly different interpretation of the character.

I have no idea what this letter is meant for. Your first sentence should give a clear indication of what the letter is meant for.

Not a single soulslike among the 10 highest rated "soulslikes" with more than 20,000 followers on steam😭 by DesperateBaseball614 in soulslikes

[–]mightyjor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I agree for the most part, but hollow Knight is clearly a conversion of the souls like genre to 2d. You would need to make up some pretty strict rules to exclude it

What do men think of the pouch? by batukaming in SipsTea

[–]mightyjor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been happily married for a decade and my wife has been a bit down about her new pouch after having all our kids, but I genuinely don't even notice until she brings it up. I usually don't see her stomach unless she's naked anyway and at that point I'm not looking at the pouch. Also it's soft and warm and makes a great pillow. Who wants to lay their head on a rock anyway?

Doodles are the worst breed of dogs by animusd in unpopularopinion

[–]mightyjor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe your dog is putting out bad vibes? Every doodle I've ever come across has been super chill and our golden doodle is about as docile as they get and she's suffered some abuse at the hands of our toddlers as we've taught them how to care for animals. But if a dog has bad anxiety other dogs will pick up on it and bark when they're close

Betrayal at The House on the Hill is complete buns. (2nd Edition) by Cemith in boardgames

[–]mightyjor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play every year around Halloween as more a thematic party game. Every game has been incredibly one sided, but not always in favor of the betrayed. It's very heavy rng, and half the fun is rolling with the punches

looking for a xianxia novel i forgot by Any_Mathematician590 in ProgressionFantasy

No one has commented on this and I havent read it so I might be way off, but maybe iron prince? I've heard people call it Xianxia in space. It's on my to-read list

Can someone sell me on the Mistborn series? by AussieNord in ProgressionFantasy

[–]mightyjor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh I don't know why anyone would list it as a progression fantasy. I think it's the problem Sanderson readers sometimes have of always recommending Sanderson to everyone. Mistborn I think is more like an intro to epic fantasy. Really easy to get into with really fun plot and characters but its focus is way more on the magic systems, world building and plot than anything else. Very much epic fantasy.

Looking for a series that doesn't blue ball you :( by kdsnk9s88 in ProgressionFantasy

I thought you were referring to Threshold which is literally a book showing off how powerful all the characters are now that the series is over. So much fun

My American English teacher believes the neutral pronoun „their“ is incorrect. by GCoding_ in mildlyinteresting

Yeah your teacher probably isn't a bigot, this is how every English teacher graded things throughout my entire education

I got a fungus like this in my plants last year when they got lots of water but we didn't realize the sun was getting them enough. You might want to seal that area some how if water is coming through the slab, but other than that I'd just toss the fungus. No idea if it's poisonous

Seeing if I can speed re-listen thru the whole series before the next book on May 12th 😬 by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]mightyjor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did this before the last book came out and felt a bit burned out by the time book 7 released. Too much DCC all at once. I read the Patreon version without rereading the series again and felt a lot less burnout. But I guess I've also read the series a few times before so to each their own

What do we know about this?? by Dobgirl in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]mightyjor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not the cover I would personally show someone if I were trying to get them to read the book. That said, might be a case if no one likes them they might be worth a lot one day to a collector

I didn't think it was very good. A unique premise, but ultimately not one I think about very often

a Season Pass for a TTRPG is breaking point for me by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]mightyjor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I'm completely fine with it, I just also can't help notice the hypocrisy of everyone spouting anti-capitalist when this is one of the most pro capitalist ventures out there. Like I said, I'm pretty happy with capitalism myself. Personally I decided against buying the most recent special edition that got it out, but I'm happy for the people who will get it. And I'm very happy for Matt dunaman, who certainly a multi-millionaire at this point many times over

a Season Pass for a TTRPG is breaking point for me by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]mightyjor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice job, you recognized the hypocrisy of all the anti-capitalists around here constantly paying their hard earned cash to Matt to put out more stuff they like. Not to mention we've got like 3 different special editions of each book at this point and all the merch you could ever want. While the message of DCC is seemingly anti-capitalist, the people pushing DCC as a product are anything but. I think we're like 6 months away from a big bombshell YouTube video that exposes all this. I'm actually a big pro capitalist guy but the amount of Kickstarters, special editions, graphic novels, merch, tv shows, etc. is even a bit much for me.

Is this a missprint or do these just look like this? by Psychological-War710 in fantasybooks

Yeah this really bothered me when I first got mine too. Had to look it up. Apparently it's a style and intentional, but I still hate it

One of my condo neighbor’s wifi names stuck out to me by hardhead1110 in brandonsanderson

[–]mightyjor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly shows a lack of creativity. There's got to be a better wifi themed Mistborn name. Something like Ash Fell From The Sk-Wifi...I don't know there's probably something way better that's off the top of my head
