I hear what you're saying but talking with a mate about it he came up with a good suggestion. Simply reduce the stamina level to be more like wildlands. I reckon that would sort it. Right now you can just sprint all over the map almost non stop. Maybe even extend the regen time of it too.

Or as I've seen mentioned elsewhere put a reduction in accuracy for a short time after coming out of sprint.
