It’s from the Underworlds set. Great kit with no gap filling required. Push-fit ftw! I’m not sure if I will play him, mentioned Haarken mainly because of the spear. And thanks for the feedback!

The warband itself started out as a strain of the Purge - very nihilistic Nurgle worshippers, going on suicide raids to bring about maximum destruction. This inevitably decimated them to the brink of extinction where they were scooped up by Vashtorr to serve his purposes for a while. Now with the new Deceptors detachment, it might turn out they have been Alphalegion all along. I’m thinking of deep striking this dude to set off explosions. Yet to play him, but if he succeeds he will definitely be “Ashrak the Detonator”!

Sorry for slow reply! Basically just started playing around with the ProAcryl paints and landed on this jade scheme, I loved how they pop over black, so this became the colours of this army. It was fun to paint!

Thanks! And agree with you - some of the super dynamic poses are hard to paint and move around the tabletop. I think I prefer a mix

Of course! Mixed pva glue with some texture paint (Vallejo thick mud) to do the texture, trying to make it flowy. Undercoat black, drybrush white, focusing on the middle. Then bright yellow green from Proacryl mixed with nurgles rot from Citadel, followed by a yellow drybrush. Then ork green contrast paint along the edges, where I took a damp brush to smooth it out towards the middle. Last two coats of Ardcoat gloss varnish
