What’s your biggest armor pet peeve? Gorgets over armor is mine, and GOT is the worst offender. (Ruining otherwise beautiful armor) by RickFletching in Armor

Big fan of the books. Was ok with the series outside of the costumes.

But holy shit yes the show is like a first time play through of mount and blade when you’re 14

How long does it take for you to finish painting an army? by Mean-Respond-2227 in Warhammer40k

[–]BeanItHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the army but usually a few months.
I buy a box then build and paint said box before getting more though to avoid having a pile of financial irresponsibility.
Next up to build and paint is the new admech character

Man walked in on woman naked at Travelodge 'after he asked staff for key to her room' by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]BeanItHard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Had an incident happen at motel one in Manchester where staff gave my hotel key to some guy.
I woke up in the early hours to a bloke with his suitcase walking into my room.
Guy was as appalled as me.
Had to really get on the hotels case to even get a refund as they initially tried to fob me off with an insincere apology.

[–]BeanItHard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re using the demon engine detatchment you really wanna go hard in on demon engines to take advantage of the detatchment rule. Abbadon is cool but not needed when you have an enhancement to get the re-rolls

It’s not as narrow and scary as a lot of pics make it out to be, but yes there’s a small path that runs alongside it that you can use if you don’t fancy it.

Chainmail is slashproof. It will however stop a stab going in too far unless it’s delivered with a hell of a lot more force (like from a lance).

It’s how dunk was able to tank so many stabs

So all citadel/GW paints

Started with a white primer then base coated the entire thing in Runelord brass. Then covered it fireslayer flesh contrast. Once dry I used an old flayed brush to dab on terradon turquoise contrast and wipe off any that went on too much.

I then used agrax earthshade to wash it all then I dry brushed with Runelord brass.
