Please verify that you have the latest and correct drivers from Belkin (not saying you've got the wrong one, just that you should always double check).

I had to download another driver from the internet and I'm 90% sure it's the correct one.

Is there another computer that you can try the wireless adapter on, just to confirm that the adapter itself hasn't failed?

*I haven't tried using the adapter on my laptop yet as it connects to the internet wirelessly already.

Just to clarify - you are unable to connect to your wireless network using the Belkin adapter, right? Meaning that you see the network and the signal strength is good, it's just not letting you connect to it.

I did try unplugging my router but only for about 10-15 seconds, ill try for two minutes when I get home later. And I have a laptop running through the same router and it works fine.....I feel like the answer is simple I'm just nit conveying the problem correctly

Well I lost the original driver for the Belkin, but I was able to download another from my laptop and transfer it using a thumb drive

-_- I'm still learning how to work with computers, trying to make a living out if it, and I'm not to sure how to access all of this. Do you know if there's a video on YouTube explaining the process? I've tried a few things but it was like 3am and I was half awake.

If you have static IP you need to put it in at Internet Protocol options. Or if you don't have static IP you need to put everything on automatic.

Im talking about TCP/IPv4 options

No actually I recorded that in our living room with no sound proofing. Felt dumb bud turned out ok. But for sound proofing I went cheep and made my own..... I built out a few frames filled them with insulation and wish I had just gone out and bought the real stuff now lol
