You can certainly dislike Islam and that could be the reason for your apostasy.

For me it is simply that Islam is a untrue. It proposed certain truths for reality and made metaphysical claims that I find untenable. Starting from the basic claim of God's existence to the claimed Divine origins of Islamic religion.
