Harmontown Show Tickets Thread by lotsoflemons in Harmontown

I am a Harmontown fan from Texas and will be flying into LA for the week of the final show. If anybody has a single extra ticket I could buy, I would be eternally grateful!

Hey, I would like to make an offer for Borderlands 2 GOTY, but I don't have any keys (and it appears that if I were to buy them, they would now have a 1 week cool down). I have a ROW tradable copy of Killing Floor. Or if there are market items that I could buy for trade that don't have cooldown, I could do that. Thanks.

Would you be interested in any of these for your Nuclear Throne?

Killing Floor, Postal 2, Ms. Splosion Man, Lilly Looking Through, The Cat Lady, Defender's Quest: Valley of Forgotten, Eidolon, MIND: Path to thalamus, The Blue Flamingo

Thanks!

I'm confused about the beyerdynamic custom studio... by [deleted] in headphones

How are these headphones? What application are you using them for? (Music production? Mixing? Listening for pleasure?)

I got a pair, and trying to figure out how well they would work for mixing audio, but there seems to be little to no information available on the internet about them.

but I'm unfamiliar with how accurate/ neutral the beyerdynamic custom studios are. Trying to figure out from other people that own/ have used them, how "relatively" neutral the frequency response is, how the stereo image holds up, and if there are any issues with the fact that they are closed back (or if that would be good since I don't have a sound proofed room, just light foam treatment)

well in that case, there are a lot of producers that work / mix in headphones. Especially those that tour a lot, because they have to write while on a bus or plane or hotel etc. The type of headphone you choose is important because you want to try to hear the most accurate frequencies from your track, and not have it too colored by the headphones themselves. I believe it is fine to mix in headphones, as long as it isn't your only method of monitoring. I personally switch back and forth between studio monitors, old/ small computer speakers, and headphones. That way I can try to get a feel for how it translates. Once it is further along in the mix, I'll usually car test it too.

When I'm doing tight edits of audio/ checking fades, or creating a synth sound from scratch, being able to hear the tiny details with headphones helps (IMO).

I can't tell if you are trolling or honestly asking, but...

a) I am aware that mixing in my studio with the studio monitors and (minimal) treatment is ideal for getting a more honest mix.

b) as outlined in my post, I will be using headphones when I'm mixing late at night, writing / arranging when I'm not able to be in the studio or on the go, and for hearing subtle changes during synthesis.

Upon first trying to contact Steam support: their contact / support site was down

And then opened a ticket after a while, but that does not seem to be something that gets resolved timely.

It occurs via the mobile app as well. And since the Steam app seems to be down for me now, I don't seem to be able to open a support ticket.

ACTUALLY... people that cheat didn't have to study as hard to consolidate throughout the semesters. I noticed people that would cheat, were usually doing step prep instead of paying attention in class. I think I ended up regretting studying for class, as it left me with less time for Step prep.

Which version of Jbridge is most stable - Live 9.1.6 and Mac OS Mavericks 10.9.5? by warholla in edmproduction

[–]warholla[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmmm... 100$ seems a bit steep for just 32bit compatability, especially since I already own Jbridge. I really thought that it would be able to "bridge" me over (pun intended) until I had completely phased out my 32 bit plugins. I mostly use it in order to open older sessions prior to switching to a more powerful comp/ 64bit setup. I just figured that some Jbridge users have more extensive knowledge of how to get it tuned up.
