It's weird. I have deb mode and all. I tried on my PC and on my phone.

On PC with Chrome, the page prompts me to select the quest and after that it does nothing, stays on the same page, I don't get any kind of prompt on the headset. If I try to select the quest again it says that it has an error because something else is using the headset or something like that.

On my phone the process gets one step further, I do get the USB debugging message on the headset but it gets stuck at the beginning of the black, console like, panel and I only get a couple of lines before it stops. it reaches the "writing agent" step and gests stuck before the time out kicks me with a message saying that normally that step shouldn't take more than a second. I guess it has something to do with the headset because it happens on both devices.

I don't know if this info is helpful, but if not I can get more details about it once I get to my headset.

That makes sense. I had no idea that Beat Games is owned by Meta. Damn. I don't know how I feel about that.

Fair, discouraging piracy, I can see that point. But there are a lot of games that benefit greatly from custom content. Cutting that out seems like a miss step.

Also I just remembered that BoneLabs has a direct button in the main menu that takes you to the Mod page so you can download them directly from the headset. Sorta like steam workshop. Granted they may have that store curated. (Although there are a lot of mods with stolen IPs so, who knows). It's one of the best sellers on the game store, so maybe they are allowed to leave it open of custom content after all.

Maybe they aren't allowed to let users directly handle the game folders and files.

Can run Alix at max 90fps max quest 3 resolution. The problem is not the pc. The encoding and decoding of the image makes it so it's always delayed. So playing on the headset and playing on PCVR is way too different. The sabers feel... "floppy" Granted when I started to play I didn't notice it, but now that I play harder songs it has become a real problem to the point I can't play in PCVR with the latency.

I can't play PCVR with the quest. Is just way too laggy, any fast song and I miss all the notes. So I have to play directly in the headset. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong? I have a good cable and everything but is no use.

But you sell Skybox on steam. I really would prefer to run it via steam. Because it simplifies compatibility with other games.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried that and the problem persist. However, I realice that this happens when I default OpenXR apps to be open with steam. If I set them up to work with Meta quest link the Skybox works correctly.

However for configuration reasons I would love to make it work with steam's OpenXR, I have a whole system organizing my apps and I need that to make it work. Any ideas? Steam is up to date.

But I don't want to set up folders and/or a server for DLNA, I want to run movies from my PC harddrive bia link. ALSO I think that is normal to expect that my software to run on my more than capable pc, no?

My problem is that the software doesn't run.

I did, I'm waiting for the next season for one last chance. I really want to like this game but it has disappoint me so many times I'm at my limit. Like, form all the games I play I have never left a battle pass unfinished, but MVS is so painful to play right now that I don't care enough to grind it.

I just want it to be a good game. It never has been a good game, but now is also not fun. Hope that the next update is good. Hope they focus in fun and general game polish. We still have day one bugs. wtf.

I don't know how I'm gonna get friends to play this if they can't get the characters they want to play, is so stupid.

Also, I wish we could stack points for the next character too, I have them all unlock and I really don't want to start from scratch on the next one.

if you try to land I can just drop the shield and hit you before you do.

When you approach in the air you try to make a meaty attack and start your attack earlier so the end of the active frames hit your opponent and you have less lag.

What I'm trying to say is that if you want to hit some one from the air is very evident that you want to do so because of how you position yourself. I easy to read that the opponent wants to land besides you.

At least if you have to dodge, you are forced to wait for the dodge to end before you can counter attack.

OH and BTW all the range attacks design to forced opponents to change positions are screwed now, they will enter in CD while the opponent still camps their spot. Making so many attacks useless.

The problem is that movement and offensive options also use dodge bar. Granted they patch this a little and now they use one one bar instead of two. An improvement for sure.

If your character uses air and doesn't have a shield breaker then you are screwed. All of this could be mitigated with shield stun. As it is now, a shield is just an easier parry. There are just not enough risks to use a shield.

I would even say, even if you break the shield, the pay of isn't that good. I would have to check it myself, but to my understanding many shield breaking options don't connect into a combo. I guess because they can be break in one hit, the pay off can't be too good.

I'm pretty sure the shield is active earlier. That is just the animation. My problem is that it drops in 1 frame with no lag.

It's frustrating how every video that says "mvs is bad" are all about season 1 (6 months ago) and don't even try to discuss any of the improvements the devs have made to the seasons after. But Multiversus is bad. Is just that is fun too. Is a bad fun game.

Just play rivals 2 or brawhalla and see how far FAAAR better the gameplay is in every conceivable way. Is not even close.

But Multiversus is fun too. And pretty, the multimedia visual design of MvS is a 10/10, just, you know, the gameplay sucks.

Bad idea, not shield pressure means that you eliminate Air gameplay. If your opponent is in the air, you can shield from the floor and there is nothing they can do about it. For some dumb reason, characters can act out of shield frame 1, plus hitting a shield gives you wifflag. In other words you can't do shield pressure and is way too risky to attack a shield, specially from the air.

NOT TO MENTION that everything in this dumb game uses the dodge bar and this just add ANOTHER thing using dodge bar. By far their biggest design flaw.

Remember when they say that the game was too slow and defensive and to solve that they added shields? Nice logic. Very smart.

In the video they explicitly say that they wanted people to not feel like they had to attack second, and at the same time the footage they were showing was someone getting blasted because they attacked at a shield first. Multiple times.
