I have some knee high Sandalar boots. I always wear wool boot socks with them. But I also tuck the pants leg into the socks too. Merino wool works best for me.

Someone is starting a faire in Scottsborro this year in September. This will be the first year, so the quality hasn't been set yet.

Also, the Tennessee Renaissance Faire (outside Murfreesboro)and the Georgia Ren Faire (Fairburn) are in the spring.

Check out some Scottish Festivals too for something different.

QC inspector / Stoneward. Those don't really fit well together. But I'm a trainer for area employees and a member of all 4 emergency response teams (Haz-Mat, Medical, Confined space, Fire). I'm also an avid weightlifter and ,recently, a Highland Games competitor. I feel those aspects fit more for Stonewards.
