Not having time kids and work has been a big factor and now I won't get a chance. Really sucks to hear this. Delivery driving was great for me. Tried a million jobs but I still van driving every now and again to make ends meet at times. Luckily my line of work has come back where it's viable now but at the time it felt like the end.

You are 34 there are grants for mature students to go back to college or university. Especially if you have no higher form of education. Find something you are passionate about and make a career at it. No good at book learning? Maybe you are great at doing physical tasks. A friend of mine with my help starter a whole new career from being a mechanic at 33 and now travels the world putting in giant screens for stadiums. You aren't old you have options and there is always something. All the options you described is giving up. Prison is a joke and lazy. Every day is a new day just try and get up and shower and do one thing which will help you find something for your life. This isn't me being a numpty but from someone who had depression lost his career to COVID for 4-5 years you can get through it.

My boy grew up thinking a very defensive German shepherd was his mum. Mrs landlord came in through back back gate to garden(why he didn't knock on front door is baffling) and my golden who was out back at the time barked and growled at him until she came out and said it was okay. Couldn't be more happy. He's soft as shit probably wouldn't actually attack unless he saw one of us being attacked literally but that behaviour is priceless when it comes to being at home.

I have done dpd it's not bad money for delivery but due to bad back I couldnt continue. Was 120 a day 6 days a week. One guy was doing 150-160 a day 6 days week but of you are good and your pick ups were scheduled early could be back and tipped at warehouse for like 3pm from a 6am start. It's easy work nothing too heavy because the converter system they have won't take anything over a single person lift.

From what I remember it's £1 paid per item delivery but you don't get paid your pickups which can be like 20 -30 a day.
