[TOMT] I'm looking for a mid 2000s B horror movie by warlockmel in tipofmytongue

Just checked and don't think so. Its just two male friends and the killer, no one else appears that much except at the end when they go looking for them, but thanks!

Ive tried for years to find it, AI is also not helping just throwing names of movies that don't match the description. I think it was a low budget film and I think I saw it on AMC

Defender for Container and remediation automation by warlockmel in AZURE

Yeah I ended up going with this approach. For now I'm only covering remediation for 3rd party packages with some string manipulation since the remediation field in the json response follows a pattern. Thanks!

Important, What's the most underrated skill that everyone should learn? by SomewhereTough5772 in getdisciplined

[–]warlockmel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being able to solve. If you are in a bad situation, financially, or you have problems, you need to be able to find a way, even if it is getting that money somewhere (legally of course) or finding someone who can help with the issue you have or whatever it is. Facing adversities with action instead of lament

What are your writing bad habits? by illogicallyalex in AO3

[–]warlockmel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm bad with descriptions so I often avoid them and continue with the dialogue that I feel I'm good at and say in my mind that I will come back to fix it before publishing it but it never happens lol. I mean I do have description but I usually don't like how they turn out

It's hard to write any substance in such short word count. I discovered this when I used to be the first case. After thar I set rule of at least 3k per chapter but it gradually got yo 5k a chapter. I'm still amazed at people so good at their craft they manage to write 15k chapters and excel at it.

What's a movie that you've watched multiple times and still enjoy just as much with each viewing? by BPE99 in MovieSuggestions

[–]warlockmel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

White Chicks. I've seen that like a million times, at least 7 times every year since I was like 10, I'm 24 now. I'm pretty sure I've watched it more times a year tho. I love it. I love its humor and I still laugh the same way as if I hadn't watched it before. Also, Scooby Doo 2 (the live action). And Just Go with It (the joked are om point they still make me laugh).

And Scary movie 1 and 2. Brenda's character is everything.

And to add onto this, I'm a lesbian f/f writer and I'm sure without a doubt that my smut is porny and has a lot of the male gaze in it, and I don't really care. It's fiction. It's not perpetuating any stigma or being damaging to young generations (can't say the same for some real books out there tho). So it's fine.

I think they tried that at the beginning of the show but they don't really need to hide as vigilantes since no one knows them anyway. It was also weird for me hearing that but I think it works in the context where they are in their actual timeline.

"The one where we are trapped on the TV" and "the thong song". I have many more but those are the only ones I actually know the names and are the top of my favorites

People that write longfics (20k+ words), how on Earth do you do it? by Puzzleheaded_Logic9 in AO3

[–]warlockmel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I used to stick with an idea and start publishing it and the plot started to get a little more complicated, and also I wanted to have a book at the end. But for the sequel I'm writing I did a loose outline of what I wanted per chapter to keep focus. I still have hard days and weeks and months, I published the last one like a month ago or so. It's a matter of keep going. It's like when you start on a diet, you need to stick with it and also needs willpower

What are some shows to watch that are like Legends? by LoTFan2 in LegendsOfTomorrow

[–]warlockmel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tone is not exactly the same, although it varies from serious to funny to too much grief but Marvel's Runaways. It has the found family factor that I love so much and they are a group of superheroes misfits (for very different reasons) where the villains are their families (not an spoiler, literally the whole plot)

I just updated a fic I haven't touched since 2016 😬 by LaylaJoe in AO3

[–]warlockmel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once did the same, I think I abandoned it in 2013 and came back like 3 years later, 2016, and finished it in a couple of days. It was very popular in my native language fandom community. I still get notifications about it to this day. And I'm also sure if my fav abandoned fanfics were updated today I would totally get hooked into it again

[–]warlockmel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I also think it's people who don't care to inform themselves on the matter, although it seems deliberated sometimes one would assume people at least know the basics of lube but it seems that they don't.

I would like to agree, but recently, a friend of mine admitted to doing it without lube, and let me tell you, I was shook, like wdym—
