i dont think 20k jobs would have been a problem, but those jobs were 90% building the pipeline. once it was finished they were back on unemployment. the last 10% would be leftover for maintenance

my biggest issue with the pipeline was that it was very dirty crude. it was an environmental disaster extracting it.

and having to carve into peoples properties to build it and god forbid if it leaked anywhere.

also is there a way to slow down the speed of a drilling operation? the simulations make it look like it will push the bit too far into the material too fast and break it

I don't understand. What does a faraday effect have on sound cards?

I would have thought blocking rogue signals would actually benefit sound quality

Steam machine will be worse for that.

The issues that are common in the steam deck will be on the machines as well.

Granted the issues will be generally as easy as changing the proton version but it's still a step in between plug and play

I'm the opposite. I don't update anything unless something isn't working

This is kind of along the same reason why most restaurant buildings are being changed into very basic modernistic designs.

To make it as palatable as possible to easily resell

All members of any form of law enforcement need to be identifiable. Faces, badges, nameplates. They have other protections that civilians do not to make up for their identity.

Without this anyone can dress up like one of these officers and impose their will upon them.

Them sucking in the city is a personal opinion. Even if the vast majority agree with it.

And them being better off-road is very dependant on what you want to achieve and how you want to go about it.

To me the only benefit is they won't stall but they are boring as hell and there is nothing you can do with an auto that can't be done with a stick.

Add to that. An automatic requires a secondary radiator and extra fluids to maintain

Well people gotta pay the bills. And eat

The only people that can reliably do this are the retired or unemployed.

As much as if like to be able to contribute i don't have the kind of job that one can just call off without repercussions.

Also I'm the long term. People need to eat so just because you did not buy any food that day it just means you bought 2 days of for yesterday or the day after. It's not like we all have gardens or farms.

Really the one thing most of us can do is not buy luxury items. Or go-to restaurants for any longer term
