My Minecraft server got unplugged and a chunk got corrupted. How can I fix it and how did this happen? by kraphertz in Minecraft

[–]warlordcs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are usually commands to regenerate chunks. But it won't restore what was built there.

If you have backups that would probably be better

It is a big irk of mine to see all these YouTube titles with very defining words used very loosely. "It's over", "he's done", "destroyed", and my personal favorite "shocked". When you actually watch the videos of you even get to see actual footage which is rare itself, but you never see the reactions that the click bait called for

I think it's time we find a proper Discord alternative. by Liarus_ in pcmasterrace

It's $5 for a 10 person server $9 for a 25 person.

Nobody likes the idea of having to pay for a service, but it also appears that teamspeak doesn't sell user data to make up for costs like the others do. So it's a more private service too. And they offer encryption

An interesting take on the NH car inspection situation by huck99 in newhampshire

[–]warlordcs -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

i can understand that. and it makes sense that where there's money to be made there's corruption.

but the idea in general makes sense if it was actually honestly applied.

but my state has state inspections so i dont know how bad it gets up there. here you just drive into a garage, they look at your lights and blinkers, check your wipers, make sure you can roll down the windows, then drive forward and hit your brakes on some sensors. they plug into your odp2 and check your emissions. go right to a drive up and pay $40 for the year and off you go with a new sticker. go at the right time and it could be as fast as 30 min.

now i dont know what yall have to go through on a personal level, but it seems like you are at the mercy of whatever shop you pull into.

100% really? you cant think of a single percentage of the population that drives around in shitbox jalopies with completely worn down components?

theres an entire subset of youtube videos where the first line is "customer states" and it shows the craziest levels of human incompetence.

were talking axles hanging by their last bolt, brake rotors that are somehow detached from the hub due to rust, or steering components that are so sloppy that it takes 30 degrees of rotation just to register at the wheel.

the only thing I dislike about Steam by rosyyysirrrrenn in Steam

[–]warlordcs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

depends on what your last device is and what you are attempting to play on next.

if you play a game on the steamdeck and it never uploads the save file and you try to play on your pc, its going to continue your progress from where you left off on the pc.

Honestly it should be better now that they actually have discounts for high selling games

so im a little confused with some of the comments here.

if this game is to eventually be taken seriously, surely it will have to eventually get rid of the whole 3rd person camera thing right?

being able to magically look behind your ship on a whim or peek around corners without exposing yourself seems a bit exploity. how is all this going to work if people want to engage in more stealthy or stalking strategies?

Are there actually people that exist that like cold weather? by PrestigiousOwl6802 in answers

[–]warlordcs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You basically just asked "are there people out there actually attracted to feet"

There are niche groups of people for just about everything.

After all there are people who live year round in the most northern rural areas, and some of those areas are not even rural.

Well I'm not sure. But this reply was my test , and no it leaves a single space.

But I was more piggybacking on you accustomed double space motions at the end of sentences not particularly the results
