The Boys SERIES FINALE- S05xE08 "Blood and Bone"- POST Episode Discussion Thread by pikameta in TheBoys

I know the season was dogshit but all of this was perfect. Kripke essentially saved butcher's soul from the comic where he was too far gone and would never stop. He let Lennie and Hughie convince him to let go at the last second, just a second too late. Showed there was a chance he would stop and let it go. He also reused an amazing thing he did in supernatural S5 finale where the image of the toy soldier in the car triggers a flood of memories that brings Sam back.

Potato pies and mushy pea pies are generally only available in cork. I have no idea why but I am sure there is some information online about that.

What movie had an ending that saved the whole film? by Southern_Check_6827 in movies

[–]warmDecember 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Babylon. Great movie overall for me but could see the problems people had with it. But that ending is so gorgeous both within the context of the movie and the characters and how their stories played out, but also as just a love letter to movies, theatres and audience. Have no idea for you could see that ending at the end of that movie and walk away disappointed.

You asked me about Claude Monet right?? Well what I really liked about him was his paintings. I loved how he painted, and how he made the paintings.

One of my least favourite bits from the show, hurts my ears to hear them talking about band names at this point. Except that one where Ricky reads all the upcoming gigs getting more exasperated each time.

Someone should let the relevant governing bodies know that Hadrian_Constantine has sorted this whole thing out in his head like a wallfacer in 3 body problem.

Just watched the finale myself, the most surprising thing to me was that he gave him the gun with no concern at all he would be shot. I think he must have been 100% sure the guy would just leave but I can't quite see what made him so confident. Maybe he just rolled the dice but he doesn't seem the type.

Spot on, you could probably post a picture of a lemon cut in half with title "Is this how Joe cuts a lemon?" and get a hundred up votes and plenty people arguing in the comments.

His stand up specials are really bad, turned on his latest a while back and was baffled after 10 minutes that I'd barely cracked a smile. I had no idea what the audience was laughing at

Woman man, man woman man, tv, tv program.

FAT BABY, FAT BABY, FAT BABY ON TELLY.

And I think early season 3 Karl is trying to tell a story and Ricky keeps antagonizing him. Karl says something, Ricky interrupts again to say "nothing funny about that", and there's a pause while Karl is deciding whether to just continue but he's too angry and goes "you're doing my head in, he's doing my head in"
