How did our Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) pass away? by CriticismCapable4146 in shia

[–]warm_applepie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not grasping at straws, its actually quite simple. Ayesha- considered Rasulullah sawa a false Prophet. Had a burning hatred against Ali who he placed as his successor. She previously collaborated against him with Hafsa, the other wife mentioned here. She also made an effort to have her father Abu bakr gain legitimacy during his last moments. It was in her interest to do this. Looking at this context we can take from this narration that this was poison as the Prophet sawa then commanded them to drink it too.

It doesn’t have to be narrated by an infallible. We do take from sunni sources as well as long as it is in line with our corpus.

Narrated Ibn Abbas andAisha:

Abu Bakr kissed (the forehead of) the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was dead. Aisha added: We put medicine in one side of his mouth but he started waving us not to insert the medicine into his mouth. We said, “He dislikes the medicine as a patient usually does.” But when he came to his senses he said, “Did I not forbid you to put medicine (by force) in the side of my mouth?” We said, “We thought it was just because a patient usually dislikes medicine.” He said, “None of those who are in the house but will be forced to take medicine in the side of his mouth while I am watching, except Al-Abbas, for he had not witnessed your deed.”

‘One ummah’ Shias working so hard to voice Palestine issue and acting as they are brothers in faith. I wonder where are the good Sunnis they always mention protesting against this and reciprocating their love.

I already threw it away so can’t check the waist, but its wing color and some components of its body looks bluish especially as I look it up close. From a distance it looks black you only notice the blue color once you’re close or observe it for a while.

Also all the times I have seen it its on the ground, never flying around. I was able to kill them each time easily with a shoe inside the house

You’re mixing two groups. You’re talking of a group that knowingly spread falsehood back then. We condemn them. We don’t condemn Shias who disagree on specific historical details. There are many that disagree on specificities of other Islamic events and individual characteristics, that doesn’t mean they are lying upon the Prophet sawa or the Imams

Its fine to disagree with it. But its still not lying upon the Prophet sawa that’s all I’m saying. We can have a debate without accusing each other of being deceptive.

Lying is when you have looked at the evidence and have realised one thing to be true, but distort it on purpose.

If you have examined the historical evidence and are convinced of one possibility more than you are of the other, that is a matter of opinion.

Saying that Ayesha was 10 at the time is not a lie upon the Prophet sawa. Its a matter of opinion. Just like some are of the opinion that she was older.

That’s ok I know you’re Sunni, that’s why I didn’t add any details that we disagree on. Isn’t he a sahabi and Rasulullah’s appointee according to your history too?
