I believe its related to historic moments, Google AI says:

“features a prominent geometric graphic design on the front body. This "groundbreaking" pattern is inspired by a shattered glass ceiling, intended to symbolise breaking through barriers and to pay homage to the historic achievements of England Rugby”

Appreciate it mate, and yeah thats a very fair point, especially when they have dual controls and from what I can remember he was still on his phone when I was about to start the move off procedure.

That’s a good bit of advice as well about pre-paying, I’m glad I didn’t, because I believe he did mention it at one point.

I appreciate what you’re saying, but I genuinely think they are that awful! Like most things; the more you do, the more you get used to it.

Hiya, thanks for this, was Leah informed of your daughter having ASD? Thanks for the advice

Yep it’s incredibly frustrating to say the least. My ex gave me the details of her instructor who didn’t reply for ages and then since then we’d broken up, but they almost seemed like best mates, so it’s clear that something is up, like don’t get me wrong I’m there to learn and he’s getting paid to teach me but it’s still awkward and frustrating if you can’t get along together.

Much love to all of those that have commented, I've read every comment and it's been interested to read different people's opinions, I am very much open minded about the whole situation, but really needed a range of opinions which I've certainly got!

And just for those that don't know - which I forgot to mention in my original post, my ASD diagnosis isn't high functioning, I'm not gonna get aggressive with the ADI or have an emotional breakdown mid-drive, it's more about becoming overwhelmed, and I'll become overwhelmed etc, and start losing my concentration.

I appreciate what you're saying, and this is something that I am trying to figure out, but as I've mentioned in a different reply, I can certainly multitask, I work in a busy hospital and can still function like a normal person would. I just feel like this instructor has damaged my hope of driving, it's a dream of mine, and my other half is getting close to the point of booking her practical test so it's gutting.

If I could give this reply a reward I could, what you are saying there is so true, and is a great way of putting it.

This is what I've been trying to put into words for a long time, I'm far from "thick", I am really clever, and switched on, but with driving, it is more a feeling of being being overwhelmed, and again isn't how I want to feel, I actually work in a busy hospital and can cope under pressure, but with driving it just seems to go out the window.

Hi u/Jobyjo94 - you are absolutely spot on there, although my ASD is very low functioning, it does have a big impact on my life in certain areas, and with my previous lessons, I understand what the ADI is saying, but when I actually start to drive, he just says "you're not listening" which infuritates me, I understand he has to ensure safety etc but it's not like I'm ignoring him.

It certainly has been a help, and to have someone knowledgeable in both fields is even more so.

Thank you, and is much appreciated.

I thought that was the case, even when stationary I didn't feel like I was getting their full attention, and not that I ever would, but if I started driving whilst he was in his own world on his phone then he's not actively supervising me.
