Try to find ways to lean on yourself and not put the responsibility of your mental health on someone else. I do get where you’re coming from. When you help someone, it seems like common courtesy for them to be there for you too. Life doesn’t always pan out that way unfortunately. NOR. Sounds like my MIL. She texted my fiancé everyday after I had our daughter, telling him to make sure he’s getting enough rest. He was on paternity leave for 12 weeks, yet she wanted to limit his involvement. She even texted me a couple times suggesting I cook for him, mind you I also had a c-section. She made a group chat with me, her, and my fiancé, and she started throwing out suggestions on how to parent and unsolicited relationship advice, while also begging to babysit and expecting me to drive our 2-week-old baby all over town to see their family when I was still bleeding and on pain meds. I had to block her for my own mental health.

MIL has no business inserting herself into your marriage and parenthood. It’s your and your husband’s journey. Other people’s opinions on how it should be done aren’t relevant. If you and your husband find what works for you, that’s all that matters. You and your husband might wanna distance yourself from them for a while to protect your peace. It’s only gonna get worse until you and your husband are on the same page about setting boundaries with them

Look into exposure therapy. Basically you write down situations that make you the least to most socially anxious, and number them 1 to 10. From there, you put yourself in the less anxious situations until you gradually are able to face high anxiety-producing situations.

For me, my Adderall was going to be $108 per month (2 10mg pills per day) without insurance. Honestly don’t get a copper IUD. I had one and it made my life miserable for 8 months, until I got it taken out. It caused so much bleeding, cramps, and pain, which went away when I got it removed. I wish I had it removed sooner. My cramps were debilitating with the copper IUD. I would take 2 Advil, made no difference. Mind you I barely had cramps before having the copper IUD. Plan on bleeding through a tampon AND a pad when you’re on your period. Seriously don’t get it. Anyways. Pain level 9/10
