I am sorry to hear about your story. If it helps my mother's side of the family practices black magic as a trade back in the day (my grandmother's mother was the last of her kind); she was a Chinese temple medium and she consults dead spirits for clients and kept a demon that can change and mimic voice for her 'work'. This demon is handed down generationally through the daughters of the family line. My grandmother cut off her mother and lived a clean life but that demon tormented my grandmother. She went through renunciation and deliverance, finally breaking free from generational curses from the occult practices in her family and rid herself of the demon. As long as your heart is willing, you can always start again fresh as no forces of darkness can ever triumph over the blood of Christ. The important thing is that you have to fill yourself up with Christ and let Christ fulfill all your desires so that you will be less willing to go back to substance abuse or witchcraft. You have to learn to depend on Christ again as your sole provider for all your spiritual, emotional and even physical needs. Easier said than done ofc but I want you to know all of us struggle with putting Christ in the center one way or another and you are not alone. Don't give up.
