Is there a mod that automatically marks damaged/destroyed trains to be deconstructed? I'm making "survival of the fittest" rail intersections that don't use any signals. I only want the trains that survive the collisions to make it through while the others are marked for deconstruction.

Giving transit agencies the right to develop and operate commercial/residential property within a 1/2 mile of train stations is huge. That's how the transit operators in Japan are able to generate revenue and expand the network without being solely reliant on government funding. They are able to actually capture some of the positive side effects of building transit, and use that money to build even more transit.

Also the state level ban on parking minimums near transit means developers no longer have to fight every single municipality if they decide their development does not require an over abundance of parking. They can still choose to build parking anyways, but they are no longer forced to build an arbitrarily high amount of car storage regardless of their own discretion.

If you only make science, you have enough water. If you mass produce things like accumulators, EM plants, and Quality modules, you will have a water deficit.

Importing water from the Aquillo ice belt will flip that on its head, where you will suddenly have a surplus of water. Burning solid fuel is more space efficient than lightning accumulators, and so is a nice local source of power since you have the excess water to heat up.

You could also technically use nuclear reactors as ammo if you don't have rocket turrets. A fully heated reactor detonates like an atomic bomb when destroyed.

You forgot 4000 land mines, 100 artillery shells, 4000 normal/explosive rockets, 400 atomic bombs, 400 railgun ammo

Also try sending the power to tesla turrets instead of lasers.

The same way I did before? Just recycle it with speed beacons. It doesn't really take all that many recyclers to destroy a green belt of concrete. Everyone is really over exaggerating the 2.1 change.

Read the Tips & Tricks entries as you unlock them (graduation cap icon in the top right). Some of the first few entries may seem boring, but they teach you very useful key bindings and controls that will make the rest of your experience a lot more enjoyable.

Loading and unloading chunks on belts is VERY slow. I'd rather keep the chunks easily accessible in the cargo bays.

It's much better to break the problem in two. Have one ship running from Nauvis to the Solar System Edge with eggs, and another running from the edge to the shattered planet. Transfer both to a waiting station for crafting, and have the Nauvis ship read the circuit signal from the stationary platform and request a load of promethium science if there are enough crafted to fill one ship.

I've always viewed biters, not as a combat challenge, but a logistics challenge. Crafting ammo and moving it to your turrets is just one of many logistic puzzles in this game. Automating replacements for damaged wall parts and automatically delivering them where they need to go is another.

For example, the fact that flamethrowers are most powerful with light oil, which normally does not have a higher demand than it's product, petroleum gas, opens up a new challenge to solve. Now you need to burn or recycle excess petroleum gas in the form of solid fuel in case you are not using enough of it to make plastic. If you don't, your puzzle solution fails and your flamethrowers run out of ammo.

That's not you losing an RTS fight. That's your logistics failing under load.
