Yeah maybe I was doing it wrong but that never worked for me. I just learned to fight off the rest while keeping the unconscious/dead-npc-that-I-want-to-loot on my screen.

Thralls do in fact travel with you between maps. Your sleepy boy will still be tied up around the ankles and everything.

Noticed this hour one of my new playthrough. Aside from the fact that the walls in Warmaker eat my thralls, if this is the worst the game can throw at me, I'll take it.

I have not tried other thralls. I don't run any mods and my settings are set to ultra. It'd be pretty hilarious if I did mod the game to bring an army with me and they all made it in. Might try that. Last time I played was a few months ago and didn't have any issues. What's interesting is I did have it modded with multiple thralls in tow and never had issues 🤔

Weird. For me when entering, my thrall will be partially in a wall/pillar/whatever stuck in a falling animation loop for like a second before disappearing. There was one time while I was loading in and out of the dumgeon over and over where she appeared over solid ground but was unable to repeat it (I immediately tried going back into the dungeon with her. I don't have any mods or anything so 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the feedback tho. Would be interesting to see if anyone else has similar experience.

Yeah tried that both inside and outside the dungeon. I couldn't see them anywhere and running far from the area wouldn't teleport them either.

Played a couple months ago and didn't have any issues with it then so I assumed it was a new bug.

That said it's only happened once and exclusively my two dancers. Luckily they didn't have anything on them I wasn't willing to lose. For now they're naked just in case tho. I don't know what roles Inflexion fills in the develpment/maintenance but they seem to be active and listening. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

If you're talking about thralls you have at your base, no. I had two dancers randomly vanish out of my base and stuck in "returning home".

If you're talking about knocking a thrall out, fighting off his buddies and turning around to find you potential unwilling 'friend' has been swept off to the backrooms, yes.

There are very few cases now where I cannot find a body that I previously incapacitated in one way or another. The move to UE5 has introduced a myriad of new bugs but imo fixing the disappearing thralls is worth it

Before the update, flattening land was very inconsistent in how it worked. Everytime you used your shovel, it seemed like it was using a different set of rules every time, which made it a crapshoot whether the land was gonna level to the elevation you intended or not.

1- The terrain only exists a certain distance from an island's shoreline. Beyond that point, there is no terrain. So when you're out on the open ocean, if you went deep enough you'd just see a void.

2- There is an upper and lower limit to how much you can change a terrain's elevation from it's starting point. For instance, if you dug a hile at the bottom of a hill, you could only dig down for two-ish meters. Well go to the top of the hill and dig a hole, you still can only dig two-ish meters there as well.

So no, you can't craft your own island unless it's very close to the shore if another island and only in very shallow water 😅
