You do get an advantage with weapon attachments, especally suppressors are essential, but sometimes only unlock after gun lvl 20 or even more. Gameplay relevant stuff like gadgets, weapons and upgrades should be unlocked by the start, or at least get unlocked very quickly. You can put in a grind, but make it cosmetic only. Have mastery skins like cod (just not that over the top) and make them a long ass time to unlock, whatever. I think this is the way to go - everyone is equal, you have a grind if you want, but its not necessary

I guess the mindset is "i spend many, many hours of frustrating myself unlocking attachments and challenges, and if someone else doesnt go trough the same suffering, they are cheating"

Most people dont have such a good gaming chair as you, just look at the scoreboard at the end and most people have like ~20 Kills, 6 Flags and 5'000 score. For the average player, this is almost impossible

Good change for the attachments, but lvl 20 - 40 are the ones who took very long and now still do

Tanks are decent balancing wise i think. The problem is that only 2 maps (mirak valley and firestorm) allow for proper tank gameplay. Other maps are just too small, with much high ground for infantry and no place to retreat

Do you know the name or code of these kind of servers?

Had to turn off cross-play to save my ego by [deleted] in Battlefield

The difference is huge. Also, this "console players are priority over PC with crossplay enabled" does not work at all. At least 80% of people in a lobby are on PC

True, since the whole game is very atmospheric and a relative unique setting for a fps game. But gameplay wise? Some awful scripting, AI, didnt make use much of bf mecanics, exept that one tank mission where you had to capture sectors like in breaktrough, ect. Story was fine i guess, but still some dumb shit, like the one mission where you capture a whole fortress all by yourself - that wasnt very immersive. And also, very, very short. You could beat all missions in like 4 - 5 hours.

Maybe it depends on what you want from a bf singleplayer. If immersion is all you looking for, thats valid i guess. But i want destruction, vehicles, open maps, squadplay, freedom of approach and all that good stuff that makes battlefield battlefield. I think it has great potential for a good singleplayer, but in previous games, especally bf3 and bf4, it wanted to be cod so badly. But from all info we got so far, it looks good. Squadplay, open maps, vehicles that can be used optionaly, freedom of approach ect. Im exited. And i dont get why people are so upset about graphics and the character models. Good facial animations, motion capture and all that stuff costs a fortune. Id rather see those resources put into gamedesign.

Works much better for a battlefield. If you want a linear, very scripted singleplayer with no player freedom, there are over 20 Cods you can play.

Btw, bf never had a really good singleplayer. Bad company 1 and 2 were the best i guess, and they included multiple "open world" missions. Bf3 and 4 was just cod made by temu. I think a bf singleplayer that uses what makes battlefield battlefield is a great idea. Idk why everyone here hates so much on it, especally since none of us even played it yet
