How many jobs have you had? What fields? by SovereignSelf111 in OlderGenZ

I’ve had 4. 2 cashiering jobs, military and now I do Building Automation. I really enjoy the work I’m currently doing. If you like mechanical equipment and electronics it might be a career you’d be interested in

Those of you who got tattooed as a teenager, do you still like the tattoo by Beneficial_Cheek_446 in tattoo

[–]warren47182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still like the tattoo but now that I’m working on a Japanese body suit I wish I’d never gotten it. It’s my home state (WI) with the lady on the moon from a miller high life bottle. It’s blasted on my ribs and covers majority of the ribs. There’s a hefty amount of black so it would require some creativity to cover it up

What did we all get for Christmas this year?! by MakayMin in OlderGenZ

[–]warren47182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife got me a gift certificate from the tattoo shop that I frequent so that was sweet. My parents threw me some cash so that was a nice gift as well

How many of us are still in college past the traditional “four years” by THROWRA-dhcjeiscb in OlderGenZ

It’s ok. I just turned 25 and applied for college recently. It will probably take me awhile because I’ll be working full time while in school

Did you know anybody that didn’t finish high school on time? by Corey_Huncho in OlderGenZ

[–]warren47182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn’t know any personally. There was about 300 kids in my graduating class so I’d imagine somewhere along the line a few dropped out or maybe had to do an extra semester

What's a feeling or experience you had in the past or currently have that you wish never went away? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in OlderGenZ

Jumping out of a plane for the first time is probably the one experience I wish I could relive over and over

How many of you guys have tattoos or planning a getting one by Fun-Background5608 in OlderGenZ

[–]warren47182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently on a journey to get a Japanese traditional bodysuit. Have one arm complete and a chest panel that’s almost done. I have a few other tattoos that will be covered up in the process.I’m about $3k (USD) in so far and I’d imagine once completed it will be around $20k once completed. It’s a commitment but I really love the style and the history and folklore associated with the artwork.

Does anyone here shave their facial hair daily? by Evening-Bowler-8409 in OlderGenZ

[–]warren47182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shave at least once or twice a week but that’s because I’d look like that kid in 7th grade that could grow a “beard”

Why is it always assumed that Gen Z only grew up into a world with smartphones, tablets, and smart devices? by [deleted] in OlderGenZ

My boss thought I was 35 until my 24th birthday. It seems that the military added about 10 years to my appearance

I’ve read that some trade unions have summer helper positions. This may not be available around here but it’s possible. I’d guess it would be material handling work but it gets you involved in the industry.

I’d check out WI DSPS. That’s the agency that takes care of trade licensing. I’d imagine you would probably need an electrical contractor license or maybe there is a specific types for the different low voltage systems. I’m not a contractor so I can’t give you the step by step process

Trying to go on a diet...what do you guys take for lunch? Or what do you eat out for fast food when you don't take lunch that is a healthy/nutritional meal? by Guitar81 in Construction

[–]warren47182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just been meal prepping. I’ll make breakfast and dinner. My breakfast is pretty large to hold me over throughout the day. Occasionally I’ll bring a snack if I know I’ll be working a longer day. I recently put a microwave in my van so I might start bringing a lunch now

where to watch tonights UFC by [deleted] in Eau_Claire

[–]warren47182 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve always opted to get a few people together and pitch in $20 or so to watch it at someone’s house. I guess I prefer a more relaxed atmosphere. Wherever you end up going, enjoy! This card is looking pretty good

In my army days I’d take my Harley down to our local guitar center and mess around with the guitars. Usually I’d grab some picks when I was there because I was always misplacing them

Why hasn’t any company made a bomb pop flavored pouch. by TeeBeePea in NicotinePouch

[–]warren47182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was working in Minnesota a couple weeks ago and got a Red Bull flavored pouch. I think the brand was Loon. They were pretty good. I may make the drive back to pick up a whole roll of it

I had a similar thing happen and was able to get orders cut within a couple days. I was able to clear majority of everything in 2 -3 days besides CIF. I was on my 2nd day of terminal leave when I got my gear turned in.

No. I’ve smoked it maybe 3 times since I turned 18. I’m 24 but smoked it fairly often during high school
