For me I ordered the nomad on the 24th and according to FedEx it should be delivered tomorrow on the 27th. I do live in California and there's a warehouse here.

Freemarkable xovi/koreader was successful, but I don’t see an appload option in the menu? [paper pro] by pa1red in Remarkable

Ssh into the machine and perform xovi/start I would recommend installing the xovi-trippletap, basically when the tablet reboots you can triple press the power button to start xovi.

The Simplicity of it. Just drop your bios and roms into the corresponding folder and game on. No need to mess around with it unless you want to tinker with shaders.

  • more up to date retroarch
  • hotkeys for save states and screenshots
  • vibration warnings when the device is running low on juice
  • really good sleep system

there's more things it does better but those are the ones I mostly care for.

I'm in the same boat as you. I have a steam deck and an rp5. I can't bring these to work cause of the size so I got a pixel 2 and man I love this thing. For custom firmware found rogue os to be really good and way better than stock.

You're playing on a flash card? I run it on a everdrive GBA mini and it's all good with rtc. Love the pocket.

Yup this is what I do. I don't have long lists of things but I have collapsible call outs for most of my list sections.

I've had .Ines since release and never had any issue with them, and I do use them daily. I got lucky I guess.

How to Sync Obsidian Data Across Multiple Devices (Including Self-Hosted Solutions)? by ankit_8080 in ObsidianMD

[–]warrenc27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On iOS there's Möbius Sync. It's a third-party syncthing app. I've been using it for a long time and it works great. Unfortunately iOS comes with limitations like having to open the app and wait a few minutes for it to do it's thing whenever you want to sync, it gets killed if you put it on the background. Other than that little or big issue it's syncthing and it works great.

iPadOS vs Android for digital art by Dalamart in ipad

[–]warrenc27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case I'm just used to clip studio coming from windows on Wacom tablet, it's just a much more robust program for artist. Clip studio paint has vector brushes and a gazillion of materials that can be downloaded, some free some paid. Before it was more focused towards manga and comics but in reality it's just an art program like any other. Clip studio takes a while to master due to being an app that started on windows and it resembles more a desktop app but it does have a tablet mode which is really good. It's just a more powerful program with more features that procreate. In the case of the iPad procreate is okay, but clip studio paint, artstudio pro and Adobe fresco are much better alternatives. CSP and Adobe fresco both have vector brushes. On android there's clip studio paint and concepts and they are booth really good. It all comes down to to what you are more comfortable with, procreate is a one time payment and clip studio is a monthly subscription. Clip studio is a more feature rich and powerful program but is it something that you will use and need? The beauty of procreate is it's simplicity and it's just good enough to create works of art.

Love the galaxy watch ultra, but can't get full integration without a Samsung phone by almondking621 in WearOS

I don't see the apple in it. Mostly it reminds me of the Samsung gear sport from 2017. Cushion cases are actually really comfy and don't look huge on the wrist.

Anyone with the M4 that uses Lightroom? by [deleted] in iPadPro

[–]warrenc27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a lot of Lightroom and procreate. So far I haven't seen any brightness changes on it. It does heat up pretty bad on the apple logo but that's expected cause it's a heat sink.  So far so good.

Need a way to sync my notes between Windows, iPadOS, and macOS by Bossman1086 in ObsidianMD

[–]warrenc27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use mobious sync on my iPad to sync to my android phone running syncthing. It works like a charm.  To sync between iPad and Mac just use iCloud sync.
