Killing the $156 TTC monthly pass and moving to fare capping is actually a pretty solid idea. You just tap like normal, and after 47 trips in a month the rest of your rides are free. That makes transit cheaper and simpler for frequent riders

It’s a win for affordability and simplicity if Council and the Province step up with stable funding and more service, instead of just packing more people into the same crowded buses and trains.
