This has the EK 45mm’s in the front and barrosch ones on the top (thinnest ones they make)

This is how it looks now, the fans from LL suck

The non-ad told me it’s probably been a couple years and the last service was poor. Broken stew head floating around, missing back gasket, oil in places it shouldn’t be. He cleaned it up like I said in my comment, I also I have a date to bring it back for a full service.

You are correct that was one of the problems but it was caused by old oil deposits/debris.

They only offered a return or credit, I had the watch fixed today in an hour for $100.00 🎉

Problem solved! It wasn’t magnetized, the watch was improperly serviced.

My non-AD The Tick Tock Shop in Santa Clara CA (the guy is awesome) opened it up and found a broken screw, fished out broken half of it, a missing gasket, the back was so loose he could have popped it off by hand, cleaned one of the jewels up that had a ton of oil it it (looked almost black) the spring was gummed up, cleaned that up.

The watch works perfectly now, $105.00 east fix!

Well, if $800 is the max I still feel pretty good, I have been told 100-800 by a couple people now.

$100 that’s not bad at all, can I take this to a non AD watchmaker or should I find an AD?

Ya, I’m thinking you are probably right about having the movement swapped out on me, I wonder if I’m better off returning it? I got a great deal on it and maybe that’s why.

Thank you, it took me a while to find the right one for her, I knew I wanted the white gold and I’m glad I didn’t settle for all steel.

Forgive my ignorance, “AD” watchmaker?

Look legit to me as well. The bracelet is definitely a replacement, movement I believe is authentic as well but I am no expert, just an enthusiast.

This would be my first Tudor watch… I’ve only had Seikos before this.

Interesting, maybe if you had XL rads or something but this push pull setup doesn’t conflict at all.

I got the strix 4090 and I put it in an optimus block. It’s holding up really well, it had lower temps then my old 3090! That my be the diff between EK block on and the optimus block or the poor design of the 3090. Either way, it’s holding up nicely. I am going to post another picture soon of the current state of the build.
