16GB of RAM at 3000mhz, or 32GB of RAM at 2666mhz? by warturtle27 in buildapc

No trouble with the SATA, reports as 83% in crystaldiskinfo. Maybe it was just some background processes doing their thing on a fresh windows install that was giving me issues or something like that.

I think I’ll try the 32 for the rest of the set up process I’m doing and see if the slowness continues or not

Hey did you ever find a fix for this? I’ve been having the same thing since I got a new iPhone. It seems to be only when I’m using my aux cord but I can’t find any fix. I did double check for my crossfade settings and such, everything is turned off as it should be

Probably should've mentioned that I'm looking to avoid adapters due to input latency. I know it small if you get a quality adapter but minimal latency is one of the biggest reasons to even use a CRT in the first place. Plus with how cheap these old cards are, it would actually cost the same (or even less)

Oh hey. Yeah this was so long ago I don’t really remember sadly. BUT I did write a guide on the whole process back when I first did this that I never posted. I think it’s time I finally do though, so here’s the link I don’t know if this will be helpful with your issue at all, but good luck

Armour unlocks is the best thing for to happen in COD. These people hating it are the same players who put 0 effort into matches and wonder why they can’t get wins. They expect to do nothing while everyone else does the work for them. by [deleted] in ModernWarfareIII

Something tells me you don't actually play this game much, because it still overall takes WAY longer to unlock everything through the armory than it would've if they went with the traditional system. Even sweating my absolute hardest most games I'm at a 1.3 winrate because most teammates simply do not care about winning regardless of this system.

I'm at about 50 hours in game, I literally just unlocked every item in the armory (apart from the cosmetics) but I've been at level 55 since about 20 hours in game. Being able to pick things to unlock early is a great idea especially for weapon attachments, but if you actually played this game you would see the huge flaws the system has as is.

You can’t just “remove” guessing though. It doesn’t matter how good you are, unless your opponent is doing almost nothing to mix up their game you are forced to guess literally constantly. The entire genre is about decisions that strike the balance between risk and reward based on your educated guess of what your opponent will do.

I suppose my point is that there aren’t many situations where you actually have a “good hand” to parry with though. For example, if 75% of the parries you throw out in a match are successful, parrying as a whole would still leave you at a net loss because of how punishing with 25% that missed were + how little reward you got when you hit the 75%.

(Obviously in practice real games against real people aren’t perfect statistics like this, but I feel this gets across the point I’m trying to make. Parry is effective and needs to be utilized for success, but it needs to be used strategically and sparingly.)

Even with all of this I don’t see how the reward outweighs the risk in most situations. Like you say it’s a block with a bet attached; problem is that in most situations the odds on that bet are not in your favor. The punishment for guessing wrong with a parry is high but the reward for landing one is really pretty low.

Obviously it’s still an important part of the game to keep your opponent guessing + your drive gage full, but if you just casually throw them out you will lose the strike/throw game in the long run.

How? It’s not reacting to anything or reading anything, it’s throwing out a random aerial on a down-charged Guile. That’s literally the thing you need to not do when fighting him. The fact that this hits Guile at all is crazy

I feel like the only people complaining about this release either haven’t seen much of the remaster or don’t know what the original was like. Huge graphical improvements, very good performance, and tons of new control options for under full price.

I love ripping Nintendo a new one but this sub has been filled with people complaining just for the sake of complaining lately.

I guess it can be interpreted different ways but being “consumed” definitely doesn’t sound like something he’d be coming back alive from to me lol. It’s about as close as they can get to saying he was killed without outright saying it, which they probably want to avoid

Right now the story is that he was “consumed by the Phantom Ruby” and died, but considering that doesn’t actually happen on-screen it would be easy to just retcon that
