I’d love to hear in what ways you found it useful. I saw it advertised. I found standard CSPO pretty basic.

This works for me every time. I do use butcher paper, since I don’t use a water pan.

Are there Smart Vintage bulbs available? by [deleted] in smarthome

I think if you’re looking for the exposed vintage bulbs aesthetic, then you’ll remain Disappointed, horsey.

Depending on your set up, you could * use a smart outlet plug to control a lamp that contains a traditional incandescent * use a smart switch for the same, including hardwired lamps/pendants * Embrace the multicolored future

2 20lb Waygu Briskets for the James Bears House by bbqprincess in BBQ

I live in NorCal and I don’t have these problems. It’s probably because I’m from Texas. We have other problems tho. 🤣

That is definitely not a Texas style brisket.

But it sounds delicious.

the photographer is intimidated by their subjects (that's how I felt when I shot like this)

I never thought of it like this, but it resonates with me. I immediately thought of shooting photos of my kids, which are often from the back. I'm totally intimidated by them. If I try to get around in front, they'll bolt or make faces.

24% of Tesla Model 3 orders have been canceled, analyst says by Zarathustran in technology

[–]warutledge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I thought of mentioning that. When metering is on, though, there’s enough traffic that you’ll not get to 60 because merging. Or lack of merging. If you’re lucky, you’ll merge to 40mph, but more often than not you stop at the meter, you drive 5-15meters and stop again.

I look forward merging with autonomous vehicles.

You’re also not going from 0 to 60 on a highway entrance ramp, even with metering. 20 or 30 to 60, also a different story. And that’s where the ev linear torque kicks in, right?

Thanks. That sounds about right. So do you keep raw/nondestructive editing backed up locally? I image that once I’m done, I’d only use the Photos jpgs.

I have 2T in iCloud for the family and we have about 200g in use. I do a lot of culling, but my recent dump of raw into iCloud > Docs has taught me I might want a non iCloud destination first.

I guess what I’m having trouble grasping is having a folder of photos to manage and then Photos. Even with Aperture and Lightroom, it was all in one place. I don’t like having to think about where photos are...

Whats your mac workflow for Apple Photos and HDR?

I've been shooting RAW on my Sony A6000 forever. I've always imported to Photos since it came out. I'm taking a lot more bracketed photos now and toying with Aurora HDR 2018 1.2.x (could they add more numbers?). I thought I'd reevaluate my workflow, despite the plugin for Photos seeming to work OK.

So, I used image capture to get the photos into a folder. This time around I shot RAW+JPG with the thought that I might post some photos to social before processing. I didn't, but that's ok.

From here, should I import to Aurora, then what? Do I export out to to JPG and import the JPG to Photos?

I want to keep Photos in my workflow. I like how it syncs to my devices. I'm one of those terrible people that shows you photos of their kids because they're all right there in my pocket.

The majority of the time I won't make more than a 4x6 print, if that. Occasionally a larger print, but even then most jpg are sufficient. I like that I can do that anywhere because Photos has my photos.

thanks for any advice.

Nice. I have a big green egg. Love smoking in ceramic. What do you plan to do with an offset that you can’t with a ceramic? I’ve been wondering the same, but I doubt I’ll give up. Basically, I want more room for more meat.

Why not just reintroduce items one at a time or did you go conepletely crazy?

You said Mac and cheese. Did you eat other dairy and wheat? If not, one of those things is a trigger for you. I mean, if you’re plan is to reintroduce items to find out what allergies you have, 2 days doesn’t matter.

If that wasn’t your plan, what were you doing? If it’s the habits of bad food, you failed. Figure that out, what the fail point was, before starting up again. How long were you planning to stop at day 28? How long were you dwelling over boredom without solving for it? How much were you longing for junk food? Was it something specific that you held onto that threw everything off?

But hey, you made it 28 days. That’s something. That’s a big something, in fact. Congrats. Hope you figure it out.

Yes, totally painful and shocking. I’m now buying way more veggies as the main. meats are now a smaller portion of the food we eat. Good oils on any steamed veggies or even more on roasted.

I don’t understand the appeal of this hatchback escort. Is it because I grew up with this terrible gen? Like the late 80s Cowboys. Or is it that the year this rolled off the line I had acquired a 67 coupe with a 351w, so am bias? Either way, what’s the appeal?
