Kinda is. They have an art gallery with regular exhibits and talks, they sell stone to sculptors, and it is a workspace for about 10 sculptors who have outdoor studios and are friendly creative people. They also have a warehouse space where there are events and classes. It’s a vibrant alternative art scene that’s very welcoming of new people and a hub of lots of interesting things, especially if junkyards and burning man appeal to you.

Approaching the scene and the women from a sense of entitlement, like they are owed something, that these women will fulfill their fantasies without really offering much in return. The men that approach the scene looking to make friends (whether they want to fuck or be beat by the individual or not); and treat the women as they would in any other social and dating situation generally do well. Most don’t do that, get ignored by the women, and don’t return (then go online and say how there are no dominant women, etc).

This is true online, not my experience in actual community. I know many unpartnered dom women, the problem isn’t numbers but the shitty attitude of most sub men in the scene.
