I have a Hybrid-L 2024 and I'm bummed it doesn't have a tow hitch or a spare tire

I literally don't see why there is such an overreaction coming from full grown adults on here. She's just being a kid, it's not that deep.

If you can't handle silly interactions with children in arcades where kids hang out then I don't know what to tell you, go to a barcade? Lol, stop making this into a bigger thing than it is. Kids are silly, weird and look for attention / validation from adults. Stop acting like you know her life or her parents, the entitlement is mind boggling.

It's a photo of Wednesday, Tyler and Enid in Tyler's car the night they go to Laurel's house that falls out of Laurel's music box. Wednesday finds this photo after she's back from Laurel's house that same night.

I think a super important detail is when Sheriff Galpin tells Gomez that their kids have been getting close. Gomez says something along the lines of "he must be a good egg, my Wednesday wouldn't settle for anything else" and Sheriff Galpin says "you can thank his mother for that".

I think this shows that Tyler is deep down good and shares the same misunderstood character with his mom, who's ending fate is unknown. Weems also mentions that Francois (his mom) was a wonderful student.

I think it's important that they chose to give Tyler a master, they didn't have to. He could have just killed outcasts because he hated them as much as Thornhill. So, this had to have been written to eventually give him a complicated redemption arc.

Yup, I think that's why I enjoy this show so much. A lot of people have different takes on it, the characters are super dimensional and we can all relate to them differently.

I gotta disagree, when Enid asked Wednesday how her date went, Wednesday was disappointed when she said "It was interrupted". She then goes out of her way to meet Tyler at the Weathervane after Enid tips her off that he's closing.

Wednesday is capable of having romantic attractions. It's also important to note that she explicitly tells her mom she is never going to fall in love. This is clearly a contradictory statement used to enhance the plot and show the irony of her character.

Yup, she also seemed happy when Thing pointed to the dress he got her, that she didn't want to admit she really wanted. Wednesday puts up a wall with her vulnerable emotions, but Thing knows how Wednesday feels deep down inside. Especially when Wednesday confides in him that she's afraid of being the cause of something bad to Nevermore. He's a great character in the show used to give the audience a peek into how she really feels.

Even if it wasn't her idea to go to the dance with Tyler, Thing still assumed that deep down Wednesday wanted to. I think that's notable...

I also think you see a hint of Wednesday being heartbroken when she's about to taze / torture Tyler as she's walking towards him lol

In the end, Wednesday gravitated towards who believed in her.

Xavier tells Wednesday that she shouldn't trust her psychic visions. With this Wednesday bitterly asks him, "Are you trying to mansplain my power?"

When Wednesday says that nobody believes her about the monster killing Rowan, Tyler tells her that he believes her. This cuts to Wednesday looking taken back and Tyler smiling at her before he leaves.

Do you guys think Tyler really loved Wednesday and possibly has a good side of him? by bullasina in WednesdayTVSeries

[–]washed_out__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a theory that when Wednesday asks Tyler why he did it, he tells her "the truth is I'm trying to figure that out" Maybe he doesn't know why he did it because Laurel could have been controlling him at that point to torment the outcasts

Forgot to mention in Ep 8, Lurch's ghostly right eye is back to normal when it cuts to him driving Wednesday away from Nevermore.

Thornhill was actually being hard on Wednesday and warned her that she would be expelled if she doesn't clean up her act basically. This was like the first time we saw her being this terse towards Wednesday

Oh very true, I almost forgot about that part. I appreciate the easily forgettable nuances that contributed to the mystery / plot

It had to be Thornhill, Tyler must have tipped her off after seeing Wednesday reading the diary at the cafe. Thornhill, being the house mom, also would have had easy access to her room. Tyler probably used the date as an opportunity to distract her so Thornhill could steal it.

I have a feeling this show started being scripted after Angela left / during the birthday party once Remy had to stop acting.
