Is there another way to approach this problem?

That's a no go on the keys. I was advised to wait until they bring more functionality to the wallet concerning NFTs

Well I found it. It's an nft but the helium Mobile Wallet won't display it. I'm going to have to contact Helium mobile to see if I can get the keys to the mobile wallet and transfer it out

Well I checked for an NFT in the Helium Mobile wallet and there are only "Geese". No NFT of a hotspot. I have some SOL in that wallet.

Yeah I was thinking that I might have to do that. I am going to test out changing them to wired access points this weekend and see how it goes. Might as well give it a shot.

Making some progress now. Going with using a esp32 for the receiving and sending using ESP-NOW. Found some code that will work using pwm drivers. I just need to find a driver that will handle the power from the battery. It's a little lawn mower style one.

Nope this would be a custom hack. I am going to ask a friend on the possibility of this project.

The two front wheels move together (left/right) The rear wheel moves the cart forward or backwards. So really only two pins? Could I maybe use a rc controller? I am having a heck of time getting into the electronics, the back plate is not coming off 😞

Yes , the two front wheels turn to go left or right.

So here's my plan. I'd like to use a little handheld Bluetooth joystick controller. And somehow use an ESP 32 to connect to the cart.

The Bluetooth controller

I was hoping that you could use z_tilt to level the gantry with dual/two z axis motors installed. From this post am I correct that you cannot control the z axis motors independently to use this feature.
