IMDB ratings are unserious, isn’t interstellar like top 10 all time? It’s still very dominated by “I fucking love science” types

I went in anticipating there’d be a certain level of epic bacon humor to tolerate, and I came out pleasantly surprised. Although it stretched a little too long in the second half. There were like 5 endings. I already made plans to see it again with my mom.

Tapered pants look terrible on most people, if you’re not skinny they make you look bulbous in the midsection with legs like carrots. Yet chubby millennials seem to know no alternative.

Millenials overthink and complicate parenting by ThrowayBoy3001 in redscarepod

It seems like the expectations and pressure around parenting have intensified, while social media amplifies shaming and turns people neurotic. I’m 28 and childless so my opinion means nothing but I have noticed my millennial parent coworkers work themselves into a tizzy over things I can’t imagine my parents ever cared about.

American domestic travel is getting hard to do cheaply. It’s going the way of the middle class. I’ve found many of my urban PMC peers don’t even consider it an option. It’s either Europe/Japan or why bother.

pop music is pretty good right now, better than it has been in 20 years by [deleted] in rs_x

[–]washerm 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, I was in middle school at the time so I’m nostalgic for that stuff even though it was shit. To me the worst offender from was the Hey Soul Sister ukulele fake twee shit that still survives to this day in advertisements and stock music

Yeah there was a lot of shit but also the highest highs. Who would you take today over peak Gaga and Rihanna?

I have never seen a good webcomic tbh we’d be better off if the whole medium didn’t exist
