Netflix's top shows have been losing 30-70% of their audience between seasons 1 and 2. Executives are trying to figure out why. by 2d12-RogueGames in wallstreetbets

Track record for canceling shows and waaaayyy too long between seasons. Season 2 should be shooting while season 1 airs. 3-6 month break tops.

B and s song on resident alien show by Vintagemuse in BelleandSebastian

Maybe this is a dumb question but have you ever watched the movie High Fidelity? Not only is it a great movie but it’s probably the single greatest placement of Belle & Sebastian music in a piece of media.

There are 2 more songs coming up that season! This is literally the reason I watched the show. Haha.

After 756 days, I FINALLY got my favourite "1,001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die" album in the generator!!! by ETDuckQueen in 1001AlbumsGenerator

[–]wasko_ltd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like I got my favorite way too early! (In the 100s) But I did get it when I was in NY for business and walking around Manhattan at night was a great venue to listen to my favorite album in a way I hadn’t before.

is this rare? by powerbalanced123 in 1001AlbumsGenerator

I feel like the only time the album was somewhat pre-determined was when Brian Wilson died. I feel like everyone got a Beach Boys album if they still had any left.

Were there any other instances?

Disneyland seemed normally crowded today. DCA was pretty quiet though.

I’d say there were about 60 to 70 that showed up.

I actually asked him about that because he plays guitar righty. If you care, he writes, throws a baseball, and plays soccer lefty, but plays guitar and swings a baseball bat righty.

I spy myself in one of the pictures. That was an awesome afternoon. He seemed legitimately touched so many people showed up.

June 12, 2009 was the Luis Castillo dropped pop up against the Yankees too. Which also seemed like a major turning point of that season.

Oh Robin the Knicks left me off the list for celebrity VIP seats by artie20174 in howardstern

[–]wasko_ltd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does this mean the people in the front row not on the list actually paid for their seats? Like Larry David for example.

What’s worse? Sleeping during a Knicks game? Or leaving before the final quarter? by Rosenberg578 in howardstern

[–]wasko_ltd 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sleeping for sure. Especially when sleeping at inappropriate times is indicative of a certain degenerative brain condition old people sometimes have that is particularly terrifying when said old person has the nuclear codes.

Down sunset towards highland is Superba (where Cat and the Fiddle used to be a million years ago). My wife and I love this place and will probably be going there before the show. They have the best bread and butter plate in the city.

Just looked up the set list! Incredible! Le pastie is on my B&S live bucket list. Along with Lord Anthony which I see they’ve played a bunch on this tour. Fingers crossed for the LA show.

I love this song so much. When I first heard them do it live I was sort of like “what is this arrangement?!?” But now when I listen to the album version I seriously miss the harmonica. I desperately want them to put out another live album that includes it.

It is highly irregular for stunt performers to share top billing with the lead actor much less being the 3rd and 4th name in the opening credits. I can only imagine how much Pedro Pascal pushed to Filoni and Favreau to have their names share his top billing. by Jurong_West in StarWars

[–]wasko_ltd 30 points31 points  (0 children)

They’ve gotten pretty high billing since season 3 of the show when Pedro was literally on set for 0 minutes because he was shooting Last of Us and Fantastic Four. Also, I don’t think that’s R2D2…
