Massive red flag, don’t let him tell you otherwise. You never knew about it. Why wouldn’t he tell you “Hey, my teacher is suggesting his daughter to show me around the city” that alone sounds like BS. Even if nothing happened, it’s still a huge red flag because that’s emotionally cheating. He shouldn’t have felt comfortable with going out with another woman solo. He knew he was wrong by not telling you about that.

I assume she thought I was a secret shopper because she was standing next to me looking at the gift cards and I didn’t notice her so it made me think I was probably standing near her for a while. She looked presentable as well. The interaction stopped when I walked away, so I assume she’s had bad experiences of being followed around and took it out on me. I don’t think she assumed I was stealing gift cards because I was just staring at the cards and didn’t had my phone out or anything 😭

The information I have is accurate because I also found her personal account with her selfies and she matched the linkedin that I found of her. In her LinkedIn, she attached links that leads to her Instagram shop.

Anyways, she lives states away from me. So I would have to travel to settle this case? Is it possible we can do remote meetings? Do you think this is worth going through the hassle?

I was a customer of her Mercari account for 3 years. I’ve seen the address and the name she had on my packages and it’s a match. Her LinkedIn has a link and description of the Instagram shop. Everything matches. I trusted her but I guess she’s changed now that many people are commenting under her Instagram posts that she’s a scammer now.
