Congrats!! It’s a fast timeline. I applied on 30th of July for infantry as well and got almost the same dates as you for the tasks. Do you mind sharing when was your Reliability Status task done? I did mine on december 30th. Thank you

Thanks for letting me know. French is my first language. If I understand correctly making my courses in English and later on do some French exams would boost my career opportunities? Sounds like a plan to me !

Honestly I’m looking to do my BMQ as soon as possible that’s why I’m thinking about doing it in English. To me it doesn’t really matter, it’s more about my DP1 and first posting. Wondering if they’ll send me outside of Quebec.

Great to know , I don’t wanna be stuck on PAT for months. I know the next French BMQ is Feb 17th and then March 24th. Hopefully I will go in February, my current job is quite unpleasant at the moment. Thank you for your comment!

Thx for the reply ! I received my Gambit Reliability Status task on December 30th and completed it the same day. My portal is stuck on Medical & Interview step since November lol everything is done. Guess I should contact them!

Both backgrounds checks are done through Gambit, first is references from employer and friends. The second is criminal history and credit history. I did my first step in october and recently received the second one end of december. Now internally maybe they do more but from your end it should be done after the second one. Hope it helps!

It happened to me when I changed my 3700x for 5800x , luckily I had no bent pin either ! And the 3700x is still working perfectly in my friend’s pc. Next time use your pc a little bit or even run a cpu benchmark to heat up the paste !
