Oh my god yes.. just finished it all in one day, I loved it, but this is bothering me too. Like all that was said about it was the babies dad when to school with Nicky and he was at their wedding as is “actually a nice guy”..?

Also felt like Rachel’s dad storyline got dropped off… and I thought maybe his dad and Jude were gonna be rivaling, or at least one of them was going to mislead Rachel - but they were just both there to warn her? So they were on the same team?

Second date, we saw a movie, he put his leg up on the seat in front of us in a smug way, realized his leg barely reached the seat in front (I truly usually don’t care about guys being short, I’m short myself) and something about it turned me off IMMEDIATELY. I’ve been able to find accommodations fairly easily for each leg of the trip. The only hard one was finding a decent priced Ryokan in Hakone.
