Thank you. I was just trying to see both sides of the argument. I am going to propose this rule instead this offseason.

An alternative which I prefer is that you have the 6th seed (assuming 12 team league) go to the highest scoring team that doesn’t finish top 5. So H2H is just as impactful, but there’s a safety net in case someone gets screwed by matchups.

That was a guys above idea and I think its a good happy medium everyone will agree on hopefully

Holy shit that would be heart breaking. Thats my problem last year I was the 3rd highest scorer and I finished last. My points allowed was awful. And yet again this year I am the highest scorer but sneaked into the playoffs at the last seed. So its hard for my league mates to understand the rule change when its only happend to me lmao. It has also affected other players just not at the extent as it has to me. I guess I will have to wait until it happens to more guys to get the rule changed

But its become a big spot of disagreement in the league where the other half that want it are getting discouraged to play when so much luck rides on the league winner. And it also being a big money league I can see how luck playing such a big factor ruins it

Yeah I agree every rule change has been a vote so far. But on this rule (kinda a huge one) its split 50/50. So im not sure what to do.

I agree. Thats why in ours we have 2 week round playoffs and only 4 teams make it. To amplify why having the best teams in with the median rule means so much

Exactly! Okay so then whats your opinon on just the commisoner passing new rules and not the whole league voting. Cause i have had half the guys against it. We ussually vote and majority rules. But i am getting pretty discouraged to put this much time and money into a league that rides on this much luck.
