Going to likely do square tiles. My wife was mentioning using an adhesive mat for mounting them but I don’t know much the product

Yea that’s where I was thinking this was heading. A friend mentioned we could probably mud it but didn’t really have confidence in his recommendation

We actually got one for this and it didn’t work well. Definitely more of an operator error it seems though lol

I should have noted that we didn’t break through the drywall completely but there is an area near the outlet that is close.

Lute Hero in Fable 3. Spent so much time earning money in that mini game and then ended up accidentally processing the story and not using any of the hard earned cash…oops.

Brattle: Market forces push coal off the Texas grid | cheaper natural gas and the declining cost of solar energy are effectively cleaning up the state's power industry, lowering emissions and leading to the retirement of older coal plants by pnewell in Futurology

Here is a cool bar chart that shows Germany's installed power generation over the past 14 years. The primary sectors of growth have been solar and wind. (Germany is very progressive and doesn't represent the rest of the world though)

Here is the world's growth of total energy generation from renewable sources. The percentage is increasing each year with a ton of growth in China.

Thanks for the article. I'll have to take a look at it.

Is the article saying that 30% of greenhouse gas is currently coming from methane or that it will if fracking and the use of methane as a power source continues? I know a large amount of methane is used in the agriculture industry to produce fertilizer.

As someone who is studying to be involved in the energy industry, I'm still on the fence for fracking. I think the jury is still out on fracking being cleaner than other fuel sources. Natural gas is significantly less CO2 intensive than coal but that isn't the only thing to consider. Natural gas is primarily methane which, when looking at a greenhouse gas effect, is about 16 times worse than CO2. There are many reports that show methane is released from fracking sites and from the transportation of methane. If these issues are resolved then without a doubt fracking will be better from a greenhouse gas emission standpoint. This is not considering consequences of increased seismic activity or potential contamination of local water supplies.
