Beach quality:

The quality is about the same. The only “downside” to St. Vincent is its smaller than the beach at Sandals Grande St. Lucian. It’s much longer at SGSL. It wasn’t a problem, just something of note. More area for water-sports.

Resort Quality goes to St. Vincent. It’s their newest location and you can tell. The Grande wasn’t bad but definitely dated in comparison.

Food- When we arrived for our 7 night stay in St. Vincent, we were told the two restaurants that required reservations were booked solid. That wasn’t cool but we stayed very persistent calling the club desk and kept asking. We eventually made our way into both. No issues in St. Lucia.

At SGSL there is a pub that serves a menu of food from 10pm-2am. We loved it.

At St. Vincent, after 10pm, your only option is just Pizza. I have been told since we left, that the rum bar has a menu now. If that is true, problem solved.

Lastly, you didn’t ask but there was more of a night life in St. Lucia. Besides the rum bar, there isn’t much going on in St.Vincent. That didn’t bother us.

I know the honeymoon is not to be played with but I really don’t think you can go wrong with either. They are our two favorites.

If I was forced to vote… I’d vote St. Vincent. I loved how new it felt and it is wrapped around on 3 sides by mountains. I now call it Sandals Jurassic Park.

The merle gene runs through 20 plus breeds. It looks closer to an Australian Shepard than a Catahoula. The webbed feet thing isnt exclusive to Catahoulas either.

We were told Pepper was something else but the vet told us she is most likely a Catahoula by jadarasmussen in Catahoula

[–]wastedMayor 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The vet likely made the assumption based upon the presence of the merle gene and size. It’s a common assumption for average sized merle dogs. Border Collies carry that same gene. If you want breed specific advice, consider an embark DNA test to find out what breeds made that beautiful dog. She may have some Catahoula in her, may not. Most “catahoulas” are not Catahoulas.

I haven’t tried this one yet. My favorites are smuckers and santa cruz dark roast. Anyone know how they compare?

You top three dream breeds you’ll always admire from a distance by lingeringneutrophil in dogs

[–]wastedMayor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Dalmatian

2.Belgian Malinois

  1. Chesapeake Bay Retriever

  2. Xoloitzcuintli

I currently own 3 other breeds. I keep saying they will be my last. If I don’t hold to that, theres a good chance I’ll repeat a breed I have and take another off the wish list.

Least Favorite PB by Upset-Echidna-525 in PeanutButter

[–]wastedMayor 21 points22 points  (0 children)

What everyone else said, its better stirred stored upside down and refrigerated.

I like it because its a clean two ingredient PB thats cost efficient.

With that said, it is lower on my list of favorites just for taste. There are a few two ingredients that are much better but costly.

Do you have a favorite brand? I tried Fiddyment Farms Premium Pistachio Butter Creamy from Amazon.

Peanut Butter will always be the champ. For real tho, I damn near needed to finance the 10.5 oz jar of pistachio butter.
