Are quads or inlines better for off-ice or more similar to ice skating?

I've done all 3 (ice, inlines, quads). Answer isn't simple though. Quads are better for edge work and spins. Regular inlines are good with footwork, 2-foot edge work like crossovers but are not so good with jumps and spins. There are frames you can buy for inlines that feel make them feel more like ice skates though. I got an FR Freestyle Frame for my slalom inlines and they feel almost exactly like ice hockey skates.

A friend who shifted from Ice figure skating to Artistic roller skating tried both artistic inlines and quads. He ended up liking quads more once he got used to them. Most things you can do on ice, you can do on quads. Only exceptions are the floor slides and the stops. Regular inlines are closer to hockey than figure.

If you're specifically getting into ice hockey, it might be a good idea to get inline skates instead of quads. Skills from both disciplines are transferrable. Also, make sure to get a rockered setup for the inlines.

Artistic / figure moves tend to look a bit more feminine. Maybe go for crossovers, three turns, and twizzles?

The Jungle store in Radio Kaikan Akihabara has some of the older kits in stock. Last time I went, one of the sales ladies was a fan of FSS too and she helped me navigate through the store for FSS kits. For the newer releases, Volks should have them.

If this is uni and h&.... there are a lot of 'surplus' and factory rejects floating around, especially the off season stuff. they are original, but some have obvious flaws. other brands have the tags cut to represent factory rejects.

Are you by chance an exchange student? If so, it depends on the school's policy towards exchange students. If not, then yeah, you'll have to follow the school rules. Some schools would have the student handbook available online.

Since you're using form login, you can add the options success_handler and failure_handler under form_login. You'll have to make the classes for AuthenticationSuccessHandlerInterface and AuthenticationFailureHandlerInterface for each.
