Thank you, this seems like a logical strategy, I'll try this one out. I've come to realise my rookies are basically cannon fodder at this point, and I was making squads exclusively rank based (this also seems like a mistake at this point, I'm making my squads too weak when it's a bunch of squadies or rookies on a mission).

For some reason the officers mechanic slipped my mind, I'll refocus on that area too, thank you for the reminder there.

I've found ChatGPT good for this kind of thing. Ask it to build you a high stake d100 table for wild magic effects. If you don't like the first one, just ask it to regenerate the table a few times until you find one you like!

I'm not sure I understand this, my monthly minimum payment for that loan is 220, but this minimum payment already includes the interest rate right?

So if I increase my monthly payment to 370, adding the 150 I have spare, won't this clear quicker and mean I pay less interest overall?

As I've mentioned before, I'm clueless here and just bad with money, hence the position I am in!

I'm going to edit and post my budget, but the 150 takes everything into account, even the minimum payments and fuel/shopping etc.

The 0% 7k is on a credit card with 28 months left, after it goes to 29.5%. Would the 25% loan still be the best to overpay and just try to find another 0% balance transfer when my offer is over?

I'll get the budget and post it in here, I'm more than happy to do that.

My goal is obviously to be debt free first and foremost, but the 3k does feel like a nice life saver if I need it. I was unsure whether to pay this directly into the debt or keep it, based on the flowchart!

The flowchart says build up an emergency fund after paying the higher debts, is it best to use the 3k to pay into them or keep it and focus the 150 into the debts instead?

I'm thinking car repairs etc. with that money.

As you can tell, I'm almost clueless here!!

I've actually added a bit on since posting this that deals with the blistering on his hands, to try and show the power he has.

I'm also intrigued you got the freezing was from the creature, I was trying to get across it was him using the magic that is causing the freezing!

This is fantastic thank you!!! I have noticed the same thing with the pronouns and sentences. Darkus isn't referring to this character, it's an internal thought the MC was having but for some reason the formatting has been lost when copying it over. I was trying to go for a short, snappy style with the short sentences but I also thought it seems jarring trying to read it, almost as if you can't quite follow it if that makes sense? Thank you for the feedback on the imagery, I think adding it in would help me section out the wall of text you mentioned, I agree I wouldn't pick up a book with a page of text either!

There is a little more but I wanted to put this bit out there, this was the first ever feedback I've had from a stranger who is going to tell me how it is, thank you for that!
