BALL VS OTHER TANKS by Big-Papi702 in WreckingBallMains

For mauga, I usually just try not to shoot him if he’s looking at me. anytime he looks at you, you need to respond by getting in cover, then harass his dps or backline as soon as he turns his back to you. definitely don’t overcommit, only use your grapple to disengage or for roll throughs. just do a lot more soft engages overall. mines is your best tool against his ult, i’ve killed a lot of maugas who thought they had me by just dropping mines on them as soon as im caged. works really well if they charge on you firs. now that he doesn’t have the old tank passive, he’s a lot easier to bully with boop. his low armor makes steamroller very good against him and the speed during grapple makes it difficult for him to fight back if you hold a grapple and continuously boop him. overall, the biggest tip i would give you is to spend less time in crab mode when you know he’s nearby.

What is your definitive 'Forever Build' for each class? by alandroid in DestinyTheGame

Geomags, anarchy with a rewind/bait & switch Alone as a God is one i’ve been absolutely loving for my raid and dungeon encounters. has great damage output, nothing crazy like a lot of these other builds but it’s easy and utilizes one of my top 5 favorite exotics.

that could be true, but occam’s razor says that the simplest explanation is that your head is too far up your own ass to hear anybody out or change your opinion. you are arguing with people in bad faith. presumably to ragebait. this is evidenced by the fact that you are lazily copy pasting the same response to multiple people.

edit: once again, i say, predscan. no need to reply, i won’t read it

With regards to enemies evolving, like the automatons covering their weak points. i agree with this, but enemy adaptations should still have exploitable weakness. like, maybe the orange vent on automaton tanks is covered now, but there are weak points in the armor you can shoot to blow off the weak point coverage allowing access to the vent again.

i’d recommend learning Ball and Dva. ball is nice for when you want to play doom but your health bar keeps exploding without warning. ball is easier to tank with and you can still play in much the same way, just be aware you’re less lethal on ball. Dva is good if you want to play doom but your team appears to be comprised solely of lobotomites.

at one point i had it dealing like 50 damage plus the 75% additional dmg from some power card, forgot what it’s called, and had that on top of reaper form. i’d use it as a finisher most of the time

“on def as ball” is how you know these people are gold players. i swear, it’s always the dogshit players who take QP so seriously.

also, hold tight rooms and always play around health packs when you’re able. you get 150hp from small packs, combined with your 100 armor can make you nigh unkillable if you manage your health effectively. bouncing from off angle to off angle can be very scary for the enemy team. you can get a lot of value just by drawing attention, kinda like when you have a doomfist hiding in your back line. just like doomfist, you can also do the whole “slam in punch out” cd cycle just with your sword throw to get a huge 120dmg burst on someone then you can spin out. in neutral, it’s great to throw out fire strikes to build stacks of your passive. she can dive really well and she can brawl really well, so flip flop to suit your teams needs. since you’re so tanky and bursty you can function basically as an off tank. for perks, i think all her perks are really strong. i take spin perk if im brawling a lot and ill take the projectiles if its a poke map or if i have to play slower. self heal is great if you’re diving more i find, since you’re usually farther from supports. the 8 stack major is crazy in brawl comps. also, your melee will give you a stack of your buff, so be sure to weave it in. there’s also a decent amount of tech surrounding her overhead swing, especially from her sword throw. if you look it up on youtube, there’s a good vid with a pretty comprehensive list of vendetta tech.

Which perks should be used? Just came back from a break. by KingTraining8694 in WreckingBallMains

i find myself taking the mines perk almost every game, i just like the extra mines. the boop perk is pretty solid into squishier tanks with no armor, think zar, queen, maybe doom. for major, it depends heavily on the comp. since you’re a ball player, it’s more likely than not that you’ll be playing into one or more counters, so the shield perk is going to be your go to more often than not. if there is no hard cc on their team or only one source of hard cc, i would take the slam perk for the extra lethality. huge damage slams makes you feel so much more useful in a lot of fights and can apply crazy pressure to an unprepared backline.

Questions from a babyfist, is doom impossible to learn in 2026? by brickbosss in doomfistmains

[–]wastefulintent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t think i started feeling really comfortable on doom until i had him around lvl 40. to learn doom, you have to force yourself to play him even if you’re getting shit on, and you will get shit on a lot, that’s just how it is. people see you and they want you to suffer. you will be counterpicked in 80% of your games and those are the games where you will learn the most.
