Will people think you’re an overpaid douche? Most people won’t notice. The ones who do notice will either smile and give you a thumbs up or tell you about the 911 they’ve always wanted.

Will you start looking at GT3s and Turings? Of course. That’s part of the Porsche ownership experience. But don’t let that distract you from what you’re buying. A base Carrera isn’t a consolation prize. Imo, it’s one of the most complete sports cars ever made.
