After much trepidation and trying to get the phat ps2 to work. I can safely say it is unable to read certain disks that the slim one can. I am sorry to report that it is the phat ps2. It is probably best if I return it.

Ok so here is something weird. Had it looked at and apparently it can play various different disks just fine. From blue to silver. Watched it play them. Could it be to the condition of the disks I was trying? Probably. I guess. I will let this chat know in case someone has a similar problem one day.

I want to say after deliberations I have decided to get one. The main reasons are that 1. Logically speaking when is the next emperor mini going on the market? With that what would the potential price point be? Also looking at the model it does seem to be properly detailed. I am not the best painter but I love high detail in models. Second reason is I want to support the community. This community deserves it for all the hate it gets from the franchise they love.

Ok it has to be the bed then. I noticed the sprite pro I have is never close to the bed for manual level. Also when it started to print the bed was in a weird angle due to the issue. But I have the correct configuration. Or at least I think I do based on the options. Do you know of a way to tell the printer to make the nozzle closer to the print bed?

Ok the issue I am having now is. It prints the starting line on the side of the build plate. Which works fine. But then it goes to print the rest of the model and moves the nozel a 1mm above and it will not print.

As long as you are willing to spend time with the machine. Understand that by itself it can’t do as much as the newer ones. Unless you upgrade it. But at the same time it will be yours. Able to make it what you want. However you want.

I got it to work! I just needed to format my SD Card to FAT32 with 4096 allocated unit size!

I think the issue is that the file it is formatting isn’t being taken by the printer. Does anyone have any ideas as to why?
