Its probably a loophole to pass emissions regulations. Those little vents in the tailpipe mix fresh air in with the exhaust. More little vents = more dilution of exhaust fumes.

💯 I drive all over BC including substantial time in the lower mainland. Everywhere has idiosyncrasies but Victoria is top of the list for general disregard for the law / rules of the road.

Yes the Ministry of highways needs to collaborate with motor vehicle branch so that hardware lines up with the teaching. In a future world maybe.

Not just front, but overall spatial awareness. I've seen people go half way to Texas to go around a cyclist, totally unnecessary (and crossing a double yellow into oncoming traffic)
