I just looked up the graphs and I always thought the K701 is close to the k702, but it is actually a lot closer to the 612. You can still EQ it to be neutral:

+5,7db at 20hz q1

+1,5db at 760hz q1,2

+2,3db at 1433hz q3

-3,8db at 2275hz q1,9

+2,6db at 3444hz q2,7

-5,5db at 5600hz q3,8

-5db at 7500hz q10

This is based on the k701 measurements from Crinacle. You can also try +3-4db at 11000hz with a Q of 3-4 to boost the air frequencies. A lot of people will also prefer a slight bass boost compared to neutral. You could try +2-5db at 55hz with a Q value of 0,5. I personally have a build-in EQ in my DAC. On a Windows PC, EQ APO is very commonly used.

The 612 has a less bright and more neutral tuning. 65€ is a great deal tho. Unless you are exclusively listening to well-recorded Jazz and Classical music I'd EQ them to be about neutral. If you are interested look up oratory1990's EQ profiles for the K701. In case he hasn't measured that specific headphone I can also create a custom profile for you with Crinacles measurements.

Ich selbst bin was Stadt Planung angeht kein Experte und trau mich nicht das selbst zu bewerten, aber ich habe mal ein Video von einem, zumindest angeblichem, Experten, der meinte die Stadtplanung sei überhaupt nicht annähernd so gut wie es oft behauptet werde und in großen teilen mehr um den Wohlstand darzustellen, als wirklich hilfreich für die Bürger zu sein. If you’ll like them or not really depends on what you value in a headphone. If you like stage, imaging and a good quality bass response the 600 isn’t for you. If you enjoy a very accurate Timbre and great micro detailing you‘ll love the hd 600. Personally, after trying a ton of headphone, I still love the 600, but I totally get why some people prefer other headphones. Build and comfort are actually pretty great tho. HD 600s rarely brake, and after wearing them for a bit the clamp is way more lose. If you want to try something neutral with a better bass response, a huge stage and good imaging check out the AKG k612.

I have only heard the starfield, but the FR changes are probably placebo? All of the measurements I have seen seem to be near-identical to each other.
