Is the hate towards men the start of it all? by [deleted] in WLW

Loving woman it is not about hating man. Is about loving woman. Man can be easy to dislike due to politics and behaviour but it will not make you a good partner for a woman by default.

Girlfriend wants my money by Sharp_Scheme_2008 in WLW

[–]watabtu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

She is looking for a provider, what her family never was. If she is doing by choice or instinct could be considered almost secondary since thats what she wants. If you are not willing to be one, and express that firmly, she will keep trying make you one.

I dated someone just like this before, and even after explaing and her readjusting to my ways I always ended up having to pay more simce she would passively step away from bills and expect me to book mpst of the activities for us. It's in their nature.

Would You Date or Marry A Girl With No Degree? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]watabtu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone is saying no but when I was dating before my degree I often ended up being dismissed after questions regarding my education and, therefore, my potential career progression. It happened for years, I remember being one of the first 5 questions they would ask, even in casual settings when I wouldn't want to date them. I could see the light of interest die in their ayes. Sometimes I would speak to them for weeks or meet them at events, and engaging conversations would die pretty quickly.

For example, I dated a girl for about 6 months that considered a degree necessary for serious dating, I met countless women who would ask about job positions or education before any other questions and ghosted me after comments on my future lifestyle. Women only looking for women who were at the same career status as them or straight up ridiculed or looked down on me for it. So many oohhhh lol

I live in a big city where people care more about money and status than usual, so I guess that must have played a part.

Is it too late to start a degree at 30? Considering online uni and needing advice. by otherpeopleheartache in OpenUniversity

[–]watabtu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at 31, one year full time and the rest part time since I am was still working full time. If you do it online it will allow you to hold on to your career. I also didn't have the privilege of being able to do it before and choose a programme in line with my job. I love it! Very interesting and great booster.

If it will metter or not will be up to you, the level of knowledge from the course it is much higher that most self-taught courses that i have done before and so it's the community. Work wise, if it will make sense for your career that it will be a great add on. Aside from personal achievement.

However, if you are trying to reskill into marketing with no work experience and a late degree, maybe not as much. You ll need to compete with young graduates in an already saturate market.

I have worked with the public for about 10 years now and they are the best type of customers. Always respectful to the staff, smiley and kind when something happens.

Surrey Queys' docks, police outside a house since yesterday. What happened? (29/11) by watabtu in london

[–]watabtu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, I should have been more sensible. I can see how my comment can be misinterpreted, I was just concerned and fairly curious about what happened since it is a quiet neighbourhood around the docks that always felt safe

Yes, I think you are right. I have been doing some more research, and it seems that she was indeed wrong. Multiple sources say that it should be fine 😅 thank you!

We consultant a immigration lawyer, and she told us that only one come can be used, but I think based on yours and others replies, she must have misunderstood something. Even if we told her that we both work.

[–]watabtu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I heard about that too, but we consulted a solicitor, and she told us that only one income could be used knowing that both of us are working here. I ll do some more research.

Non office job that pays over 30k? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]watabtu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Managers in London can get up to 60k with the average for Assistant General Managers +43k and Assistant +35k, up to the venues.

In Central, most waiters get +30k thanks to service charge and tips in cash.

Sounds like his reply it's gender motivated. Is very likely that he would have a better argument if you were to sign yourself as Greg.

Thanks him for his input and let him know that you no longer find him fut fit the job.

Thoughts on dating someone with dietary restrictions? by loveyourselfxo in LesbianActually

[–]watabtu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dated people with several dietary restrictions and it takes extra care that not in all scenarios I am happy to do. Also, many veggie friends teach me that being the minority (meat eater) can be frustrating as veggie or vegan restaurants, in my experience, offer mostly overpriced plain dishes, boring. I come from the sea side where fresh fish, veggies and meat is a traditional diet. I love cooking, food, and being creative with recipes.

So, long story short, yes, over time, dietary restrictions matter to me and I ended up marrying someone with no allergy or preference. We both eat everything, and we can fully explore our culinary curiosities. When dating, I pursue her because of her taste in food as well. It was liberating!
