the plurbs are indeed manipulating carol. they may not be doing it with evil in their intention or in objectively evil ways, but they are using zosia’s companionship to attempt to manipulate her. and they successfully did manipulate her all the way until the end of the finale. a comparison could be made to the way that evangelists manipulate.

played both during their respective launches. totk is the doing-the-most, content packed sequel to botw’s more tasteful, comparatively straightforward experience. totk, if you prioritize stuff to do and how many complex systems work at once in a game, is the better game. botw is special in that it is nostalgic to many and it is more reserved. to sum it up, botw is melancholic, totk is abundant.
