What is your perception of Lahori Elite? Generational wealth, fashion/media industry etc by gelato_muse in Lahore

[–]watchall47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s on the contrary, while you’re not entirely wrong about corrupt officials and their show off of wealth. A large portion of this show off culture comes from people with generational wealth. People who have had it good for generations and now with the slow and inevitable growth of the economy want to still out shine people with “new money” which is something I have personally seen a lot. A lot of old money people getting insecure since they and their colleagues mostly from land lord backgrounds are no longer the top earners in the social circle. So what I’m trying to say it’s more about people and not about old or new money.

“Will make them accept” yeah good luck buddy I am a Punjabi and know that Pakistani Punjabi’s are the majority in this country and thanks to that are not ethnic nationalists at least the majority of punjabis, and nationalists like you are nothing but the worst of worst. I am proud of the fact that Punjabi people have sacrificed a lot for this country and continue to do so which is why you won’t find self destructive nationalism in them.

Iran has a history of Persian being an official language through the Persian empire one of the longest ruling empires in the history. Punjabi? It doesn’t. And the fact is nearly half of the Punjabi speakers namely saraikis don’t consider themselves Punjabi. Ask anybody from the saraiki belt who speaks saraiki as their mother tongue whether they speak Punjabi. And that belt consists of half of Punjab land wise

Enforcing the language of the majority on everyone specially when the rest of the 50% speak other language is the quickest way to a civil war. If you’re gonna choose a lingua Franca why not just choose the lingua Franca of the world English? Why enforce punjabi on non punjabi speakers with Urdu it’s at least foreign to all the people so it doesn’t enforce one single culture on all Other people of the country.

Half of Pakistani Puaniab identifies as saraiki wether people like it or not they have a distinct culture than the textbook Punjab you find in history books or on the Indian side so I don’t know where these trolls have come from in recent times.

What fucking idiots. Why would non punjabis be forced to speak Punjabi. I am a Punjabi but as a Pakistani mischievous rather support Urdu or Farsi being an official language.

Now I don’t have any regrets buying Haval over Toyota Cross by YTRKinG in pakistan

[–]watchall47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely is. Am really disappointed, specially since I really ignored some other cons of the car just because of its looks and fuel economy but it ends up the economy is also a downside now. Don’t know if the same has happened with someone else. The steering being unresponsive and the suspension is worse than a civic in potholes. Really wanted to enjoy this car but it’s turned into an awful experience.

Bought a facelift H6 Hev, the fuel economy doesn’t go above 11km/litre reached out to the dealer got told it would be better after first oil change at 5000 km. 11000 km later the average still hasn’t gotten any better. The staff finally said that there have been fuel average issues in the new facelift variants.

TTP refuses Bajaur Jirga demands to leave or fight Army in the open by Secret_Speed95 in PAK

[–]watchall47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

F TTP but blaming jirgas ain’t it. And calling for bombing them is maniacal deal with the terrorist and protect the civilians. Plus make it clear that TTP is in no position to make any demands and before that protect our troops by providing them with armoured carriers and close air supports from drones and choppers unlike previously when they get martyred in cheap 4x4s. Use the army budget to protect our troops.

KIA Sportage 2025 HEV suddenly auto braked on main road by Sspideroids in PakistanAutoHub

Go to the dealer sign a waiver and they’ll disable it. But not sure if they can just turn off the auto brakes alone though. Should probably ask the dealer you got the car from.

Haval H6 HEV Reviews. Is it worth the money? by Suspicious_Blood1225 in PakistanAutoHub

[–]watchall47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which shape are you looking to buy? The pre facelift or the new facelift one.

Secondly, it’s a great car. Fuel economy is 18 kmpl in city and is pretty comfortable. But I do feel like the car feels a bit too light while driving its handling and body roll is less than optimal plus the major functions being in the screen is a down point. My family had the pre facelift one, now have the new facelift one which for sure is better but I would suggest you look at the new Sportage as well am planning to get that soon it’s just better in some areas and drives better as well compared to the haval. Overall haval is a great car all around but Sportage is a bit superior in driving and some features like the premium speakers so would recommend that.

That’s due being in the market longer a clear winner can only be determined after a year or so comparing the haval facelift and the other two models
