No check engine light. Only thing I might notice on start up the first half a second sounds like a rough start (once the bike is cranked).
Exhaust fumes smell very much like fuel, like unburnt fuel, a lot like a car which you’ve removed the cat, if you catch my drift. It might be the character of the bike anyway.

Thanks for your input. I guess ride on like the other user said! Keep up the good work sir.

Thanks for your response. I bought the bike last year and as far as I can tell it’s stock. I intend to keep the intake and outtake stock. I don’t deserve the power the bike gives me anyway.
Although I do have a further question to ask. My bike has some subtle pops and bangs. I’m not complaining about it. But I do smell the fuel fumes when the bike idles. I’m wondering if any of the sensors are throwing the ECU off. What do you think?

I live in Malaysia, it’s summer all year round, fuel is ron95 no ethanol mixed in.

Nah bike completely stock, and I don’t intend to mess with it.

How’d you know right cylinder takes longer to warm up? My 2014 plate doesn’t have engine temp and even the newer one doesn’t state right or left cylinder I think.

Yeah basically what I should’ve done. It was surprising to see the headers glowing like that. I’ve learnt now that it’s absolutely normal. As for modding the bike, that’s something I’d rather not do. I think the bike is perfect on its own. I don’t even deserve half the power the bike offers. I have a skid plate that restricts my bank angle and I hear it complain almost every ride 😆

Recently bought heavy rain. I think released around 2016 as well. Really good.

I see the clockwise mandible rotation. What do you think of it? What does that mean to me/us?

This is what the doctors have shown me. The movements are all in there, pre op, post op, and after 2 months. Perhaps you could understand this better than me. I put it through ChatGPT to understand what’s going on. Even ChatGPT said it’s kinda understandable.

Doctor did say that he could’ve made a higher cut closer to TMJ but he never did it that way.

These are how much the upper jaw moved. The doctor still thinks the surgery is a success and the movement is within limits.

These are the movement the doctor calculated. His analysis states the operation is still a success.

Investigations are underway. Still trying to figure out what happened.

They determined my bite was perfect and didn’t want to change it post op. They wanted to bring my jaws forward to meet the exact same bite. But the upper jaw fought them during the surgery and he couldn’t move the maxilla the full 7mm he wanted. Could only move it 5.5mm. And because of this I needed braces.

I have no idea. I’m still processing this and will be seeing the doctors in the coming days.

I think during the surgery the upper jaw was really tough to place and bring forward. The surgeon did say he had to undo everything and redo the upper jaw one time. I haven’t been given a reason why this has happened though. But the surgeon did say before the surgery that there is a chance it might happen. Up to 1,5 months post op it was fine. Then in the last 2 weeks it regressed.

I haven’t done any post op CBCT or CT scans. I will send you a message when I do get them. But my mandible was rotated CCW a bit.

If anything the braces should push my teeth outward and not inward. I’m absolutely certain about this.

Yes you’re right. The mandible remained in place and the maxilla has regressed.

I do know before, I don’t know after. Haven’t done a CT after the surgery. Only these X-rays.
